I haven't even tried! I stick to the single puzzles - Wordle and Nerdle.

* Nerdle is the math one - it has a separate thread. (Actually, I think Quordle has its own now too.)

I don’t know of any tricks. I do know that when I started, I lost more practice games than I won, but I am getting better.

I concentrate on one word at a time. Sometimes, I just look at the letters that are left unused and come up with a word that only uses those letters. Hopefully that gives me some new letters in the words.

And there’s luck.

and only one guess left, bully, or bunny or even buggy, buddy, which do you try?? Hopefully you don’t have 4 to chose from , but two is possible. It was for me, today. ( Not the real word, this is an example. )

I don't know that I would call it a trick, but instead of one "start" word, for quordle and octodle I often have two start words. So I lay out 3 vowels and 7 consonants and see where I am from there. Then concentrate on one word at a time. If the first two start words really leave me with nothing I have a third, but it reuses one consonant. However if I have to use it, I've put 14 unique letters on the board out of the possible 26

I lay out the same 3 start words almost every time... then usually get the words on 4 5 6 7. Tricky words can end me up at 8 or 9, but I've lost just a few.

I use scale, mouth, grind to knock out 15 letters quick. I might not use all three of them if I get a lot of letters early on.
