Okay I went today to check it out.
The sale items run from 25% to 70%.
There were stuffed bears, and tshirts and other items.
There were some XL and XXL Tshirts. Most of the items ( about 3/4) are from Disneyland California. For you pin people about 6 different types of pins. There were also some snow globes and watches.

The Store closes Jan 26th. It is located by the payless on the 1st floor.

I had NO idea there was a Disney store in Worcester. Where is it? Is it in the Worcester Common Fashion Outlets?

I really thought the closest one was at Solomon Pond Mall, Marboro / Berlin town line (Rt 290 / Rt 495 exits).

More info PLEASE!!!!!!!!
Is it a REAL Disney store?

What's AMS?

Its not a "real Disney store", my receipt says AMS character outlet.

Its in the Worcester common fashion outlets.

I don't know what AMS is. The merchandise I bought certainly looked real.

So I have to ask...where is it exactly (Highway wise)? Is it worth it to make a crazy drive up there?

Its right off of 290 at exit 16
Directions are here http://www.worcestercommonoutlets.com/direct.html

For more info on AMS

I found the following on Laugingplace

Disney Character Warehouse Outlet Store Locations.

Throughout the year merchandise that has previously been available at Disneyland Park®, The Disney Stores, and the Disney Catalog is sold at a substantial discount at various temporary Southern California locations. They are operated by Asset Management & Sales LLC (AMS) who offer a mailing list due to the temporary nature of their locations. These locations often close after the holiday period and reopen for the next holiday season or move to another location within the area to save cost. Merchandise may vary between locations.

E-mail subscription information is available below or you can sign up at any of their warehouse locations.

For those of you asking if its worth it. If you wear a small, med or large tshirt or like disneyland I would say yes.

Here is an example of what I bought
California Screaming tshirt - 18$ on the 50% off rack
Disneylands California Adventure tshirt - 18$ on the 50% off rack
Disneyland hotel pin - 10.50 - 50% off

so my total for 2 shirts and a pin $23.25

I live about 40 mins away and I felt it was worth it!

Thanks for the info.

I think I would have screamed if I realized I had a real Disney Store THAT close to me & didn't even know it -- and now it was closing. LOL

From the sounds of it, I wouldn't doubt if it was there just for the holidays. The Worcester Common Outlets have never been a big draw for people. Don't know why. DH was there at Christmas to pick up a gift at Sports Authority & said the place was a ghost town. I think it's busier during the day with all the downtown working folks.

I frequented the place when it was the Worcester Galleria back in my college days.

I remember seeing a help wanted ad for them before Christmas. They are just seasonal. I used to work at the mall when it first opened, way back in the 70's. Now, the garage is a nightmare to park in. It's hard to navigate and figure out how to get into the mall. I always just go over to Solomon Pond now. It's much quicker than going into Worc.

I wish MI wasn't so far away from MA. I'd love to go shopping there
