WOOT!! Received First Pin EVER!

I've been to Disney a number of times and have never in 10+ years received a PIN...until today!!

I'll be honest and say it's a small upgrade but I'm still thrilled as it means I'm on their list to possibly receive another PIN in the future. Woo hoo! I'm not able to travel during the dates they're offering and basically it's only the current summer room discount offer + a bonus free Park Hopper but still...it's something and I'm thrilled to be on the list!

Hope springs eternal!

I received a code by email today. Going to call and see if I can apply it to my reservation that I already have with the Summer Resort Offer - but right now all circuits are busy.

We've received and used PINs the last two years...I'm hoping my luck doesn't run OUT, lol!! I don't know what lucky star I wished upon, but I hope it stays up there in the sky for future visits.

OT as I know you received emails, but for those who call and see if there is a pin code associated with their name - would they NOT have received some sort of notification via snail or email? It seems random to call and see if there is a pin code associated with your name for which you never received an email or mail notification, right? Do you think these people just missed an email or something?

2 years ago all kinds of posts here about people getting FD pins. I was always getting them, kept checking my e-mail,nothing. saw posts that people were calling to ask so I did too. No FD PIN for me. already had a resort ressie booked at POFQ with sis family so asked CM to check her name. I almost had tears when CM said that sis had the FD PIN and she never got an e-mail. Used her PIN to get FD at POFQ which was excluded from the GP Offer. we would not have known sis had PIN if did not call.That year (2013) a lot of people called and had a PIN but never got e-mail

I was one of those 2013 people. Never got the email, but called and there was a pin attached to my account. Received 10 days of free dining over Christmas. So I'd definitely call every so often. Also, don't forget to check your "spam" folder. I've had PINs appear there before as well. Good luck everyone! I'm keeping my fingers crossed for another for next October.

My cousin had a FD pin attached to her back in 2008. She didn't receive an email but just called as she occasionally did to check for pins and voila, there was one. She and I enjoyed a fun few days at Disney together that summer!
