I can take it? Its just facts have to be stated.........you can't be part of the Championship city without a championship.......so the patriots should not be included at this time in the "CITY OF CHAMPIONS"......thats all..........

My loyalty belongs to the METS, GIANTS, and ready for this one.....the BULLS..........so I know rough times and GOOD TIMES..............ESPECIALLY THE METS.....oh lord what a year .............GOOD JOB RED SOX and CELTICS......PATRIOTS .....ah not so much...........

I am sorry but anyone that has a perfect season is an amazing team in my book.. and is deserving of a little respect. Dan Marino never won a ring but he is still one of the best quaterbacks of all times.

Other people can say what they want but whats happening here in Boston over the last 7 years is very special. I keep telling my sons it wasnt like this when i was a kid. I was 12 when the Buckner thing happened and I was devastated. I saw the old Celtics as a kid and loved them. Its so nice to see them winning again. I was very happy for Paul Pierce he has been very loyal to Boston.

I never used the "city of champions" you quoted. I said it was the best sports city.........and I am correct!!!!

Please I am saying these things just to poke some fun. 16-0 was remarkable. Since I think as way back as 98 is when the Red Sox started becoming a team that was to be taken seriously and then when the Patriots won the First Superbowl.......it kick started something special in that town......you all know as Bawstin.............I have much respect for you guys but come on......I live in NJ, and Like the teams that i stated before.....I gotta be able to have some fun by taking jabs when I can.......I am not a bad guy........I just like to have fun...........for instance

Bulls 6 Championships.............Celtics 17.....I think we know the winner there
Mets 2 ......Red Sox 7 or 8 i think..........again the winner we know who.
Giants 3...........Patriots 3...........and a very impressive 3 Championships by the Patriots.......I will always be the type of fan that gives a team their due.......heck the reason why I had tears in my eyes when the Giants beat the Patriots was because I never thought it would happen.....I remember when Brady got the Ball with about 45 seconds left in the game....i was like just watch him make a drive that brings him into field goal range and they will tie the game..........So trust me.....no hating on my part...........just love for the sports I watch and the teams I root for. So I will have a beer tonight in honor of the BOSTONIANS.......GOOD LUCK the rest of the way and we will see if the Red Sox can win another this year........ BOSTON

I understand what you mean here, but when you look at it a different way, the world's best basketball players all play in the NBA, they just play for US Cities instead of their own countries.

So in a sense, the Celtics really are the World Champions. Especially when you look at the home countries for the members of the Lakers.

I know you are just kidding.. For the record my 2nd favorite football team is the Giants and I know they outplayed us at the last superbowl.. It is fun to debate it though.. thanks for giving us our due
