The dark one doesn't work for me. <insert a dozen crying smilies here, except I can't find the smilies any more>

I've been reading all of 5 minutes and my eyes hurt already.

They are right there in the tool bar. Click the link that looks like this.

Preview works for me in Firefox and IE.

Control Panel is your name at the top right of the screen. (I think)

One thing I like better here is to the right of your name, "ALERTS", hover over that and you can click on one of the alerts to take you to that thread.

There's a little too much hover-over action going on in here, it gets annoying. but it's staying on the right side of unusable.

Posters may have already noticed that you no longer need to post on the thread Subscribed/Sub etc to follow a thread. There is a Watch thread button to the right of the thread title (when the thread is opened).

You've never had to post to a thread to follow it; there was an option under Thread Tools to subscribe. It always drove me nuts when people would just post the word "Subscribing".

I miss being able to preview a thread (hover over title) without having to actually click on it to see what it's about.

I can try to load Chrome (on this machine) and check it out if you'd like. Here's what I see in Firefox on mine.
I'm basically pointing at the word until. There's a half-second pause and this pops up.

Just a thought: do you guys have a pop-up manager installed? I haven't inspected what's going on underneath and if it's done with CSS/js, it's probably not the issue, but if it's a true pop-up your browser may be suppressing it.

Actually you DID have to post to a thread to follow it, about 10 years ago or so. The subscribe to thread option WAS an add-on, but it has been around a really long time.

I downloaded and installed Chrome (typing in it right now) and thread preview works. this is my "out of the box" install of Chrome, so no privacy settings or pop-up blockers enabled. I'm assuming privacy setting is at a medium level.

I don't know about this. The stark white looks bad, plus I can't find any of my old posts. Are they all gone? I'm really only replying to this so see how my posts look. Guess I'll figure it out eventually.

Do you have javascript locked down in the browser?

I found the element in the CSS, I haven't found the JS for it yet, but I'm assuming that it's using javascript to populate the div with the thread preview.

Thank you for the dark theme, it is better than the others. Hope that several more darker ones come out so we can choose from them. Going to take some getting used to, and I will miss the iphone app terribly. I used it everyday. Change is hard But I am enjoying the new smilies interface.

Since search is not fully functional the issue people are having is that its only showing threads they have done on this new system.

Mods have posted that search will take a few more days.
