We're leaving 2 weeks from today and I'm doing the same thing to my poor DH.... he's like more Disney... really??? LOL I just have to limit myself to 20 minutes of 'audible' ramblings about Disney every few hours.... I might go nutz though, I love him but he's never been... so he doesn't 'get it' yet

This thread is bringing back so many memories of my first trip to Disney with my children...17 years ago! No disboard back then, but I was so organized that I received many comments. I had read guide books and had my folder neatly done...kids packed...ready for 4 days at Port Orleans and then the Big Red Boat...Disney sponsored back then. I almost booked at a Days Inn in Winter Park...trying to save money...that would have been a huge mistake as DH would have hated being offsite. Thank goodness he loved Disney

Now...many trips later...things sure are different! We do Disney a couple of times a year now...usually with a grandchild or two!

My next trip is September 23rd...4 nights...with my good friends. This will be our first grown-up, girls only trip! We are all excited and of course I am making all the plans. I think I have everything planned except picking the menus for some of the special events we will do. One will even include Tarzan. I think my gf's will get a kick out of that

It sure is fun reading about all those going for their first visit!

I am very lucky to have a wife who loves Disney as much as I do!!!! We have to do something on the Disney subject every day, something like the 12 days of Christmas!!

OMG! Myself, DD and DS can't wait, 32 days before we get to All Star Sports!
We are there from Sept 23 to Oct 3. One day of shopping and the rest is all Disney. Really looking forward to Hoop Dee Doo Musical and MNSSHP as I've never done these before!

I can't believe how close it is, 15 days for me. Just think 2 weeks from tomorrow you'll pick up your cell phone to hear someo crazy person yelling "I'M HERE".

DH thought if he took me to the mall and lunch we would be able to have a few minutes of a non Disney conversation. Boy did that backfire on him. Every outfit I found I was like this will be so cute and then I added for which night and what restaurant we would be at.

We have a dedicated 2 bedroom Magic Kingdom view at BLT. We have free dining upgraded to deluxe. It will be my new granddaughters first trip. We are part of a grand gathering with my bff and her family.All my work is done all thats left to do is pack.

OMG, we arrive on the 11th and we are celebrating our 20th anniversary too!!
Not only that, but my sister is going the week before me. We have a lot in common!!

This week I am going to work on getting my list of items together and placed in one location. I usually use my dining room Everyone can tell that I'm getting ready, I am wearing my Mickey shirt today!!!! My DH looked at me this morning and shook his head and smiled.
