Awesome, I loved the first one and have it on DVD.

But the news story is from last year? It's probably well into production then.

I just looked for some updated info. Tom Hiddleston is playing The Great Escapo. I'm not familiar with that character.

When the Muppets movie was out in 2011, Hiddles would tweet about his love for that movie, and he would sometimes say he was singing "Life's A Happy Song" and it made him feel happy. It would make me wish that he would be a part of the sequel. Sounds like maybe the casting/producers/director might also follow him.
