**Woohoo !! MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE !!**

Lovely tree Karen, I would love a real one, but I put it up far too early and it would be a pile of twigs by the time Christmas Day around :rotfl2:

Look what hubby bought me this morning .. he's so cute

I bought the largest option in this one, Claire. It'll go on a storage box in the corner of the living room so will look quite a bit bigger than 150cm... It should be arriving on December 3rd so I'll be able to concentrate on the Disney tree in the hall first before moving onto that one... :santa:

Thanks hun, I had a little look earlier & found a few sites so will speak to hubby tonight & hopefully place an order. :thumbsup2

Mandy that Stitch is very cute. As for the real tree that is why I have three, one just Disney (in the lounge), one modern black & silver in my dining room & then a large real one in the hallway with my gold & red decorations. I have the two fake one's up for ages then get the real one around the 1st December & it lasts right through. :thumbsup2

I bought a lovely new tree last year and also have a black and silver theme too.

We have a lovely flower shop here in Muscat that do a lovely Christmas display of trees and decorations so I was so excited when I went in yesterday and saw that they have started putting out their displays again. Will give them a day or two then I will go back for a better look and no doubt make a few purchases.

yay, cant wait hope the next 8 weeks go quickly:goodvibes

Got back from Disneyland Paris last night and had a couple of additions to my Christmas decs...

I'm imagining that with a YK tealight in it.:cloud9:

This was from the shop where the glass blower works in front of you - though I didn't see him make these while I was there. (he was making glass scorpions :confused3)

Kyra said to me yesterday that she is really excited for Christmas. Can't believe its 8 weeks away, we need to get started on that letter to Santa to give to him at DLRP.

I am feeling very festive as we have started practicing the Christmas songs at work with the children . I am also making paper mache reindeer for my activity week :rotfl:

I wish the coca cola advert would hurry up and put in an apperance though

Oh lucky you Rachel. Christmas time was always my fave time of year when I worked at a playgroup. I loved all the Christmas crafts and preparing for the Nativity or Christmas concert

:wizard: Good Luck with your paper mache reindeer

Not sure about the Coca Cola advert, but I believe the M&S one starts next week :)

Me too - I am sooooo desperate to see it......"Holidays are coming, Holidays are coming".....

Aw I love that advert too :goodvibes I love buying the Christmas bottles of Coke with Santa on them :cloud9:

7 weeks brilliant.:cool1:

We don't get adverts here well not any you would want to speak about.

Whenever the Coca Cola or M & S ads or on please let me know so I can YouTube them.

M & S just around the corner from me so will start visiting daily to check when they get in their Christmas cakes. Usually the shops here don't start Christmas stuff until mid November.:confused3

Oh I forgot the supermarkets here are getting in their frozen turkeys for thanksgiving so I bought one for the Christmas dinner yesterday. A 12lb one for two of us.:rotfl2: To get a fresh turkey here, you would need to take out a second mortgage to get one.

I found a right little beauty today.....

On Sky movies (channel 327) they are doing a countdown to Christmas & are playing christmas movies 24/7. :santa:

Admittedly they are repeated quite often but normally with sky movies they rotate films once a week.

Well i've just come back from a marathon xmas shopping trip and it was a success! Got loads of stuff and lots of bargains - am shattered now though  I'd forgotten how much of a workout xmas shopping really is :lmao:

Sounds good! If I EVER get to change the channel from it's default football setting... ;)

BTW the 6 packs of full-fat Coke cans that came in the shopping today had the Christmas logo on them.... :santa: Holidays are comin'!!! Holidays are comin'...
