I have been doing a bit of online christmas shopping this morning. I can't believe how much I have got done already.

I have bought loads of bits and bobs for the kids and my parents, still no idea about DH again though. WI'm going to start wrapping soon too while the kids are at school.

I have a good start to my shopping, going to make some lists and start wrapping what I have (when DS is at school):goodvibes

I'm so pleased I've made a great start on my shopping, I just need to update my lists and work out what I've got left to buy. I had a trip to a shopping outlet in York a week or so ago and managed to pick up some great bargains which will make ideal pressies.

I have a cuboard full of Christmas pressies so think I will start wrapping this week :goodvibes

Got my Christmas Cake started today by steeping the dried fruit in brandy and Baileys (my secret ingredient)! ;) I'll leave it overnight before making the cake proper tomorrow. This is my 1st year of making a gluten-free cake so I'm hoping it'll turn out OK... :goodvibes Later in the month I'm making my first gluten-free Christmas pud... :cool2:

I had better start thinking about doing a list for this girls, everyone is so organised I haven't even given xmas a thought yet

I managed to get dh to retrieve all the wrapping paper from the loft that I bought last year so I can make a start on wrapping ... my only problem is I need some roast chestnuts and a christmassy film to go with the wrapping, it's tradition !!!

I have a list of gifts I need from Boots but I'm waiting for their extra points evening which is on next week :thumbsup2

I love listening to one of the Christmas Hits CD's or watching The Snowman while I'm wrapping up my pressies :santa:

Today I'm going to finish my cake - the soaked-in-booze fruits smell delicious BTW!!! Just hope the finished product is as yummy... Also just received another Grolier Christmas decoration!!! I collected loads some years ago but there are big gaps in my collection SO I decided to stalk eBay and see if I could add to it. Suffice to say, there are plenty out there and I'm having lots of fun... :santa: :goodvibes :santa:

You cake sounds lovely Karen.

I have to have some Christmas tunes on to wrap pressents too, a glass of Bailey's doesn't go a miss either :santa:
