**Woohoo !! It's Christmas Day **

Our avenue is having a neighbourhood light switch-on ceremony in December - we can't wait! Since it is our first Christmas here, we are busy buying lots of new lights and outdoor decorations to make sure we fit in with the avenue! Will post some pictures when the "big day" comes.

I hit the shops yesterday. Cosco, Tesco and M&S. The freezer is full of lots of yummy things and I've finished my shopping

all mine are wrapped, did loads of xmas shopping in florida, so only have a few bits left to buy! first time I've ever been ahead of myself!!!!

ive just had a song played on heart fm as i was stuck in the bedroom.....they played step into xmas for me

i can relax and watch a film now for the rest of the afternnon

I spent 2 1/2 hours yesterday wrapping presents. Why oh why do they package things in odd shapes ? I can only cope with boxes

I went shopping with my mum and sister on Saturday, didn't need much for me as I am mostly an online shopper, but it was lovely to see all the Christmas decorations up in the shops. My favourite part though was seeing Father Christmas in Debenhams - I waved at him and he waved back which made my day - and made my sister run off and pretend she didn't know me! Funnily enough, the same thing happened when I tried to get her to dance with me to Merry Christmas Everyone.....

I went late night shopping on Thursday to Debenhams as it was Mega Day and got loads of presents at 20% off then a couple more things on Sunday so we are nearly sorted now, just need another present each for DBF's parents. Will put the decorations up towards the end of the week and wrap the presents up so that it is all ready for the weekend hopefully.

Got the three for two christmas presents at boots today in my lunch break at work.

Got the Baileys chocolate fountain for my friend (could not resist) but then after work had to walk the two miles home with the heavy bags.

Just need to start wrapping now
