Offtopic, but had to share the joy....

I found a job (no mean feat in computers - Information Technology). I start on the 20th, work a week, and then to OKW for Spring break....

which I will totally more enjoy with knowing I am having a job.... This was supposed to be a DVC cruise, but we "downgraded" when I lost my job to OKW. Gotta love DVC - it can be very flexible when you follow the pro's advice.

Rich, thanks for the best wishes... I keep bouncing back and forth between my own business, and wanting insurance. The game is getting harder and harder now that we're getting older. (I think there is age discrimation.... JMHO).

llp479, if you want an IT job in Chicago, I may be able to help, so PM me if you want to try.....

FYI - I did think of a last minute trip to Disney, but I'm using the 2 weeks to get my life in order so I can concentrate on the new job and do a great job..... But with DVC, it is possible, and it's lovely to dream!

Goldi, congrats! We are no longer in Naperville. Dh took a job in North Texas last fall and is enjoying a 4 mile commute!! There are things I miss about Naperville, and it was a real challenge for the older kids to leave friends and such, but we are pretty happy down here. The bad news is....our house in Naperville STILL has not sold. We are praying that things pick up soon!!

4 mile commute - I am so jealous... My old commute downtown was 2 hours door to door.... my new commute will be 45 minutes to an hour (which seems heavenly to me.)

Hope your house sells soon. I think things will pick up in Naperville, once they get the issue of the 3rd high school straightened out.
