Actually, I agree with you - that's the only thing I think he did wrong, although I'm not sure how he could have played it differently and gotten as far as he did.

I think that Rob was just concerned with getting to the final two and didn't really plan beyond that. If he had been really smart, he would have voted off his girlfriend and tried to take someone else with him. I actually think he might have beaten Rupert or Jenna in the final two, because then it wouldn't have been a vote for the "lesser of two evils". Not the first person to be done in by love, and won't be the last

A was also a little surprised by Tom being a finalist tonight. I would have thought Shii-Ann, Lex, or Kathy.

i know i'm in the minority but i don't like rupert, i didn't vote for him, and i wasn't happy that he won.

my votes went to alicia, a good player and a deserving winner

EXACTLY!!!! ME TOO!!!! I did NOT vote for him because he is not worth any vote to me. I could have done without seeing his face tonight.

p.s. I voted for Kathy to win the money. Among so many other reasons, I cannot forget how she came to the rescue to pee on a fellow male tribemates hand to relieve him of stinging pain when the other male tribemates could not, ahem, perform under pressure.

we all voted for rupert here in our house and even the folks in my office!! i was so excited to see him win it...i screamed! he's been all over the radio and our local CBS station this week. he's just such a nice and genuine kind of guy! it's so nice to see the good guy come out ahead for once...

Ok so Rupert wins a million dollars so how much of that will the IRS take from him? They should come to Canada and award the money all lottery winning and casino winnings etc are all tax free.

We all voted for Rupert too and I'm very happy for him and his family. Colby was a second choice.

I definitely did not want Rob to win because he's won enough now and he's just a bit too sneaky for me. But I don't HATE him and can't imagine actually hating any of these people.

I tivoed the show and DH and I were watching it at 9pm. We had just watched 15 minutes when DH's mother called. He had barely said hello to here when she said "--------------- won!" He was pissed off. He's not a tv watcher like I am, but he had watched some Survivor and he was looking forward to seeing this show. Luckily he was kind enough to not spoil the surprise for me.

I was tempted to ask him who won, but I was afraid I wouldn't be happy by the answer. When Rupert won I was thrilled!

The show did, however, make me want to vomit again. TV deals for Rob and Amber's wedding, hmm.....do we think this was all part of their plan. And then Rob sat there and campaigned and they said he was campaigning on some of the talk shows they were on because everyone loves Rupert but he played the game better. Doesn't he have enough already? Do they really need MORE attention. Let someone else have a moment to shine- Geez! I usually don't get so caught up in Survivor but I was in tears to see how happy his family was! SHINE RUPERT SHINE!!!!!

Okay I know I'm going to get flamed for this but here goes...I hate Rupert. yes I said it , I hate Rupert. Well maybe hate is a little strong but I definitely don't like him. It's called Survivor not Crybaby! everytime you see the guy he's crying and what's up with all that screaming and the tie-dye??I know everyone loves him but I can't figure it out. I voted for Rob. He definitely should have one. oh yeah and I voted for Colby once just cuz he soooo cute LOL okay guys fire away

I did! I really like Rob, I think he's hysterical.

It was incredibly obvious that Rupert was going to win from the moment they announced the extra million and from the way Rupert was acting he knew it too.

I loved Big Tom's reaction to being in the top 4 he was so surprised! I'm glad to hear that him and Boston Rob worked things out, not like Mr Hypocrite, Lex.

I really like Colby, glad to hear he's doing so well in Hollywood, good for him.

I have mixed feelings in regard to Rupert. On one hand I use to really like him, then when Jenna left the game he really ticked me off questioning her about it. Then I started to like him again but tonight ehhh, he seemed so confident would it have killed him to at least act surprised? Oh well good for him, he did provide a lot of entertainment and help ratings so he deserves it.

Amber and Rob- I just love them, I think they're cute together. I read in an article that he designed the ring he gave Amber...awwwww.

Rupert is the only reason I watched the show to start with. He is a good family man who loves his family, loves life and sticks up for the little guy. Way to go Rupert!! You got my vote.

My thoughts on the show:

Jerri went on way too long and it was clear Jeff has some sort of point to make. I'm glad Jeff said to her and anyone else, if you want to go, leave now, we don't want you here if you don't want to be here. Ha-ha! I sure love Jeff- he makes this show tick.

Not shocked at Big Tom being in the final 4- I think he deserved it. Was WAY shocked at Rob being in the final 4- I guess I just thought America would be O.D. ed on Rob. I would have really liked to see Jenna L. or Kathy as the 4th person.

I'm glad Rupert won, but it was just so obvious from the start. And I think all of the Survivors knew he would win in- Sue kept pointing at him whenever they would say something about the winner tonight.

Rob C. seemed EXTRA spazzy tonight...twitchy almost! Nice zinger Jeff gave him about having a cuter girlfriend cause of Survivor.

Johnny Fairplay=sleeze bucket. Ew.
