Well we’ve gone and done it ….going back home for Christmas so the countdown has begun!!!!!!!

Glasgow to Orlando - Mon 21st Dec (via Newark)- dep 09.00 arr 18.03
12 days in Orlando Metropolitan Express (our fav hotel on I drive)
Then a friend is taking us around the "bottom" end of Florida (The Keys/Miami)
then return
Tampa to Glasgow (via Newark) - arrive back 8th Jan at 07.30am

We plan to do all of the usual suspects theme park wise throughout the holiday but wanted to know if anyone has suggestions for places to visit in the south of Florida – Keys and Miami being a must see……let me know your thoughts

Stayed a good few years ago in Fort Lauderdale and from there we did a day trip out to an Indian Reservation, very interesting and tax free shopping! and also an airboat trip on the Everglades to spot and feed alligators. Sorry can't help you with the finer details, but it made a change to the hustle and bustle of the theme parks.
