POTC is back up and right on schedule! I look forward to riding it this Sunday. It now offers Fast Passes.

They arent offering fast pass yet. A CM said they are testing in without for the first week but are prepared just in case they need them.

The line was insane at opening today then it went down at 10:30. Seems like they need them. ‍♀️

Ah. Good to have an on-the-spot report. I look forward to finally getting back on it this Sunday.

I was there when they reopened after Jack Sparrow was added. The line was all the way through Fronteirland but... the wait was only like 45 minutes - it moved! I think Fastpass is going to make the line slow moving - like it has for ISW.

I wonder if the FP will be year round or seasonal like the FP for Haunted Manson Holiday.

ohhhh how did I not remember this! Sorry about that, I guess I normally go on Haunted Mansion when the wait time is 13mins :upsidedow But I do hope the FP for Pirates doesn't make the stand by line slower. The nice thing about the Pirates line is that it was always moving; even if the wait was long, at least the line was moving.

We happened to be walking by just as it reopened so we got on with almost no wait. I think the line will be long for a few days at this rate.
We've noticed the same about Dumbo since it reopened. Prior to the changes, I could make it my third or fourth ride of the morning after rope drop and the line would only be two or three minutes long. It's now more like 20 after just my second ride. I wonder how long it'll be that way.

I liked the changes they made.
Glad to hear it! I'm usually not a big fan of change but in this case it was inevitable and unavoidable. I look forward to it on Sunday!

I'm looking forward to more feedback on the changes. Change is hard for me not because I feel strongly for or against the "auction scene" but because it was a ride where the soundtrack or rather the monologue is so ingrained in my brain from my childhood - and that's a good thing. It brings back such memories for me, and it will be hard not to miss some of the original stuff for me.

Spoilers - although it’s been a few years since I rode it.

Same music I think. The Johnny Depp face at the beginning is gone. But if you are a traditionalist, he wasn’t there in the original anyway.
Now they auction chickens instead of humans. Redhead is still there.
The whole thing felt fresher to me but I didn’t notice other big changes.

Went on it today at night. Original wait time was 30 minutes but I think I was waiting only 20. A cast member reconfigured the queue to eliminate a few turnarounds
