We finally made a decision about our next trip and I just booked it! April vacation at the Fort, hooray! Glad to have the decision made and have the (SINGLE) reservation in place already rather than scrambling a few months down the road, stitching together all of the days at the same campsite level like we did last Christmas. I'm doing the happy dance!

April is a nice month to be at the Fort. We have gone in April several times. It can still be 'very' hot and humid, but you can also have some days not so hot - swimming will still feel very good though. We have ressies for the first part of Feb. to get in our last visit with our current AP's.

Easter falls on the end of March next year so it will probably be mostly spring break crowds. We love the F & G Festival - was there the last of Feb./first part of March this spring.

Enjoy your anticipation! :yay:

Woohoo! Congrats on your Fort Xmas ressie. We will be there on Jan 4!

Thanks! Christmas was this past year (2014), this next year will be April.

And thanks! You may recall that I was on the fence between April and summer...so many mentions of the heat lately pushed us to decide on April. We are taking DS's friend along and these boys are both huge water lovers, so a bit of heat will be definitely welcome for these two! I'll cross my fingers that the F&G Festival will still be going on, but I won't hold my breath.

And cool that you're getting in another trip on your APs. I think we might go for APs this next year since DH and I are going down for the Wine and Dine half marathon (flying and staying at Wyndham Bonnet Creek)...even with the runDisney discount, I still think we'd break even or be slightly ahead with APs, plus we'd have the free parking for November when we're staying offsite.

You should be going at a 'perfect' time for the F & G Festival. It usually runs approx. 3/5 - 5/15 - dates could vary, but not usually by much. We will miss it next year :( Have gone to it several years in the past - I 'do' love my flowers - keeps my poor hubby busy running automatic Rainbird irrigation tubing to water them! :-)

Oh great! We've caught F&G a couple of times in the past and really enjoyed it!

We are excited as well, ilovedisneymm. These Wisconsin farmers will be at the Fort from Dec 29 - Jan 12. Hopefully we will meet you. We will have the 5th Wheel with the two cows with cheeseheads!
