Woo Hoo! I was able to get refund vouchers!!!

I've been checking the TWA web site almost daily since I purchased our airline tickets back in January for our November trip. I bought 5 round-trip tickets and paid $216.50 per ticket (taxes included). I had pretty much given up any hope of the airfare ever coming down. Well, today was my day! I happened to check tonight and noticed that the round-trip tickets (STL --> MCO) were down to $196 (including taxes). I called immediately and they are sending me the transportation vouchers that will be good for 1 year! It's only $20.50 per ticket, but we saved over $100 for the 5 tickets - that's a couple of meals at WDW!!!

Just wanted to share to see if anyone else will stumble upon a lower fare for themselves!

WOW!! We almost exclusively use TWA since we live in St. Louis and they have never given us a refund voucher although we have requested one on many occasions. In fact a customer service rep. once said to me "Why should you expect a refund when the fares go down, we don't require customers to pay the difference when the fares go up." I thought that was extremely rude to say. Anyway, I am very happy for you though!!! Maybe there is hope for the future.

They called it a "downgrade" request. I asked what the term meant and she said it just means that you're requesting a downgrade in airfare. I

We are going to WDW in November/December 2001 as well AND flying on TWA out of St. Louis. But we used frequent flyer miles to get our ticket this time. Maybe we will run into each other!

Hay us too! I called Thursday night and got vouchers sent for the difference in air fare. For us it was $66 each for 10 tickets!!!! Next time I'll wait to book later. We leave from STL on Nov 24, maybe we'll see you guys.
