I booked cabin #8532 as well. The Murphy bed is located in the livingroom. Fellow dissers have said the because of this, the room seems "roomier"! I had booked a couple of years ago but wasn't able to cruise then. I realize July 2004 is a ways off but it just gives me that much more time to read the Dis boards and plan a more enjoyable vacation!

When do y'all cruise?

Hi MommaluvsDis...

Sorry you had to cancel your last cruise.... I hope the time flies for you.

I am booked for the August 21st sailing... I am staying at universal studios for 5 nights before and at Disney for 8 nights after...

I am really looking forward to this holiday!

I will let you know all about 8532!

Thanks!! I'd love to hear about the cabin and your trip! Hope all goes well on your cruise!!:) August will be here before you know it!!

Hi,
Okay now you have me really drooling...first with your wonderful description of the AKL Concierge and now by booking 8532!! We had that room booked originally for our 7 day cruise in Dec. and then had to give it up when the friend we were going with cancelled :(

If you go to this link in the DCL page and click on the little camera image it will take you to some 360 pictures. There is one of a 1 bedroom suite which is 8532 or 8032.http://disneycruise.disney.go.com/disneycruiseline/index

I want to hear all about it when you come back!!

We had cabin 8532 on our Wonder cruise this past September. All I can say about the cabin is WOW! This was our first DCL cruise and my DH upgraded us at the port as a suprise for my birthday. What a suprise! The cabin is very large. There are 2 full bathrooms. The living area is very large. We only have 1 child and he slept on the pull out sofa, so I can't tell you about the murphy bed. The master bedroom is very nice, with it's own tv. There is a small desk between the walk-in closet and the bathroom. The bathroom is split, with 2 sinks and the tub in the front of the bathroom and the shower and toilet with a door towards the back of the bathroom.

The only con was the noise. It does get very loud in the morning when they are moving chairs to clean the deck. But we were up early anyway, so it really did not bother us.

Have a great cruise. I know you will love this cabin.

To SuAnne... he he he.... thanx for dropping in on my cruise comment... what a coincidence we had the same cabin # - sorry you could not go =(

2 things I forgot when replying to you the other day 1) My room # at AKL was 5233... (you asked)

and 2) You mentioned you stayed at BC.. I have just changed my 8 night stay at AKL to a 4 & 4 split with BC... will I love it??

To motherhen.... thanx for telling me about your stay in 8532.. how did you find the view from this cabin - I was thinking that the Port side would have better views of Castaway Cay etc?

How was the concierge staff and did you get treats? etc...

Thanx for the info,

Cass

Yes, we got treats every night. The concierge staff was great. Took care of everything we asked for and more. I really don't remember the views when we were at Castaway Cay. We were in too much of a hurry to get off the ship so we could enjoy the island! At the port in Nassau we were docked next to another ship, so no real view there. The best views were when we were out to sea. You can really see the stars at night.
