Check your rates DISer's! :cool1:

Just checked mine for end of June/beginning of July and the APH rate is out.

$179/night + tax for PBH ($199/night Fri & Sat)
$194/night + tax for HRH ($214/night Fri & Sat)
$159/night + tax for RPR ($179/night Fri & Sat)

I saved myself $600 by adjusting my rate

I honestly didn't think that the rate would go any lower than the Super-saver rate they were offering with Harry Potter opening this season.

Thank you for posting. I just called and changed my rate from the stay more save more to the AP rate. I saved just over $100 for the 7 days, July 2-9th. Friday and Saturday night are $179 and Sunday thru Thursday is $159.

I just checked yesterday and my August rates hadn't moved. Thanks to your post, I just checked and they've dropped!!! $60/night lower!

THANKS!!!

I'm hoping someone can help me. Are these rates available with the Preferred Pass, and if so can more than one room be booked at the discounted rate. We are going in July and need 2 rooms for 3 nights, so I'm thinking it would be worth it to buy one annual pass just for the room savings. Thanks for any info you can give.

Yes you can!

I do believe that you have to have 2 annual passes to book two rooms. One person in each room needs to have one. Double check with reservations. I know with AAA, that you can book 2 rooms if it is children in the second room...annual passes might be the same.

Hmmm.....

We are a party of six and need to book two rooms...we used the special "pin" and the annual pass rate to book both rooms.... Both rooms are under one person's name....

Hotel Reservations never mentioned that each room would need to have an AP or another "magic" pin for each room. Nor did they ask if anyone else in our party had one

Just my experience...

You should probably should call and ask....

I know with the special PIN rate, you can book two rooms.

The email states: 2 rooms maximum per reservation at this promotional rate.

Not sure about the normal annual pass.

I'm changing my reservation right now. Wow! What a savings! I'm actually rebooking from the Royal Pacific to Portifino because the savings is so drastic. I'm still saving a bundle even with the transfer to PBH. :cool1:

Last year we had to book 2 rooms because we had 7 in our party (2 adults, 5 children). We only had 1 annual pass and, on the phone, there seemed to be some confusion as to whether or not the APH rate would be honored in the 2nd room. But ultimately, it was confirmed on the phone that because we needed the 2nd room due to the children, the APH rate would apply. We stayed at the HRH.

I found it strange, but they never asked to see our APH when we checked in! Go figure.

We have a Kids Suite booked at HRH for 8/16-22. When I check pricing online and put in "APH" in the promotional code spot, the price I get is more than the super saver rate I'm currently booked at. Am I doing something wrong? Do I have to call to get a lower rate?

I got a rate of $436 for those dates for the Kids suite.

Make sure you choose "promotion" in the drop down menu above the spot where you entered the "APH" code.:goodvibes

My supersaver rate is $363 a night. Maybe the good APH rates haven't been posted for August yet??

Thanks to all of you for the info. I booked 2 rooms at the Royal Pacific for our trip at the APH rate, and was told I just have to have the pass when I check in. Same rates as the others have stated - $159 for Wed. and Thurs. $179 for Fri. Even with purchasing the annual pass that won't be used except for a few days, we are still saving about $400!!

Thank you so much for posting this! I switched our rates over to the APH for PBH. This is the best rate I got for PBH in a long time. Now waiting for those October rates to drop!

:woohoo: Just re-booked my 3 rooms @ $189 for waterview APH rate (we were originally booked @ $224.10 for a standard-standard is currently $159!). The savings was so great, we opted for the upgrade.

:scared1: I am just FLOORED at these rates! But, oh, so happy  . I thought sure the rates would soar so close to the opening of WWOHP. Can you believe 4th of July DAY is only $159 (APH) and the rest of the weekend is going for only $179?!!!! WOW!

I love this board! Thanks to ALL who selflessly contribute so much valuable information.

I don't have an AP, but I was wondering whether I can find a rate that's under the AAA rate. I'm pretty sure I won't get that awesome rate that the AP holders will get, but is there a way to get some sort of special? I will only be there a night and I currently have a $229 room at the RPR. What's the pin rate? I signed up for Universal Orlando's email thing. Is that going to help or something? Thanks!

Am I missing something...isn't the buy 3 nights get 5 nights better than any of these rates? (works out to be $132/night for RPH)

The buy 3 nights stay for 5 nights is a 40% discount. Better then the APH rates BUT this thread is about rates for June and July. June 11 -August 21 the discount for staying 5 nights is 25%.

Some of us don't want to stay 7 nights.
