Okay, so we have our accomodationes (that’s Spanish for accommodations I think) and we have totally decided how long to stay, right? Uh, wrong. Tera and I are indecisive. No we’re not. Yes we are. No we’re not. Yes…well, you get the point!

So, the enforcer’s birthday is on Monday, the 11th. So, we knew we would fly in on Saturday, the 9th, and we would stay just long enough to hit each park. So, what…like 5 days is totally gonna be enough, right? So, we’ll leave for home on Thursday or Friday. Yea, that’s it. We can see everything we need to see by spending one day at each park, and maybe havin’ an extra day to hit a park a 2nd time. Yea…

We didn’t even really want to *do* that whole MGM thing. What is that park anyways? Then, Tera found out that the weekend we were flying in, it is *GASP* STAR WARS WEEKEND! So, the enforcer and Dam have a little, ummmm…Star Wars….ummmmm…thing. And, by thing, I mean OBSESSIONES (that’s Spanish for obsession I think). Dam and the enforcer are soooo on the same cognitive age level when it comes to toys. Does it matter that Dam is 30ish and Jon is 10? Nope! They relate. They speak in Klingon to each other…or whatever Star Wars people speak to each other. Thing is…Jon doesn’t know that when we go it’s *GASP* STAR WARS WEEKEND! It’s another surprise for his birthday. He’ll get to meet fat head, or bubba fat, or whatever the heck his name is??? So, we have to add a day to our vacationes (that’s Spanish for…oh, you get the point) so that we can do MGM, 2 days of MK, AK, and Epcot. So, we’ll now come home officially on Friday!

Well, then Tera DISsed her brains out and said we definitely needed two days at Epcot. Didn’t I know that? Of course I did! Tera wants to drink beer in every country or something like that. So, we needed to add another day! Saturday was the day to come home. Saturday to Saturday. Nice round little vacation. So, we were leaving on Saturday, the 9th of June…we’d have MGM, 2 days of MK, 2 days of Epcot, and 1 AK day!

We booked! We danced! We drank and partied all night long! We smacked down that nice little deposit. We had our room…or our accomodationes! We had park tickets! We weren’t gonna do that dining thing…cause yea…we are on a budget people…and Tera’s Tarjay-budget-crunching brain could help us eat cheap, cheap, cheap! So, it was set in stone! We had room and board (separate bathrooms!) and our park tickets set! Right???????????????

Well, we’re indecisive! No we’re not! Yes we are! No we’re not! Yes……….

Anywho…we forgot one very, very important thing. Anyone? Anyone? You? You gotta guess? Anyone?

Uh…yea…SHOPPING!!!

(and water parks…cause I so want to be in a swimsuit for the first time in a million years)

So…guess what we did???? Yea, we changed our rezzies! We added another day! Because don’t you neeeeeeeeed a full day of shopping and fun? Of course you do? Doesn’t DTD take hours and hours to get through! Of course it does! And, don’t even get me started on Disney Quest! Dam is foaming at the mouth to go into a whole 5 floors of nothing but stinkin’ video games and all that jazz. Remember, he and the enforcer are on the same age level when it comes to toys! I think Tera and I are gonna turn them loose and let ‘em have at it. My ADD won’t let me sit and play games that long. I’d rather tear my own hair out!

So, yea…final trip schedule? We’re leaving on the 9th and comin’ home on the 17th! I think we started off with something like 4 days of parks…and now we’re up to 7?!? Don’t call us crazy…call us…errrrr…okay, we’re crazy! But, this is set in stone. Because if we add any more days we’re gonna all have to live in a cardboard box in the alley. Well, the cardboard box doesn’t sound toooo bad, does it??




Really is there anything left to say? Jennifer, the master of all disaster, explained the crazy way that we think! Or did she?

So, yes, my husband does have the mind of a 10 year old when it comes to Star Wars! He remembers seeing the originals in the theatre and has the soundtrack on a record!! So, MGM became a vitally important aspect to our vacation. And the more we found out about the “Mutha Land” the more time we wanted to spend there. But, how much could we afford finally dictated the final length of stay.

Remember how I mentioned that my daughter had recently started turning to the Dark Side? Nope, she hasn’t turned into the dreaded Lord Vader; she has fallen in love with the dreaded Cinderella. The dark side of my mind is anything princess and overly girly! Genius girl has decided it is her mission in life to meet Cinderella.

She acts out the entire production for us, often. Once in public, while she was in character, she asked very loudly, “Why do you lock me in my room, Stepmother?” She began begging for me to let her out!!

Needless to say…I was mortified, I was the Wicked Stepmother!!!! Why couldn’t I have been the Fairy Godmother?? I would rather have blue hair and arthritis than be wicked!!

So, to help Genius Girl live out her princess dreams, she is visiting the Bibbity Bobbity Boutique!!

While the guys are at Disney Quest, the ladies with be shopping and getting pampered! Well, one of us will be getting pampered!!

And about the box….we have already moved in…got room in your alley, we love to travel!!!

That's my favorite park.

Now I know that teeny, tiny 4 year olds won't be riding ToT or RnR, but still there's the Muppets AND the Beauty AND the Beast Stage Show AND the Voyage of the Little Mermaid AND so many characters AND the great atmosphere AND I love this place.

I promise you'll find something for the non-Star Wars peeps in your crowd.

They give us a brochure that shows all the different hairstyles available and tell us to walk around until our pager goes off. We look around the store which is Princess overkill. I feel like I'm in pink hell. Minnie on the other hand is in pink heaven.

JMHO. In fact DD is going to pink hell errr... BBB again this year. She had completely emersed herself into the "pink side".
