I just returned from a stay at the Beach Club and had a great time. It was a girls only trip, no husbands or kids, and 7 of us went. We had 2 rooms at the BC. I had faxed my requests down 3 days prior and at check in asked where our rooms were located. Well surprise, we were upgraded to 2 concierge rooms!!!!! We had a standard view, as we had booked, but what a great upgrade. We had a great time.

That sounds wonderful! I am so glad you had a great stay at the BC. It is our favorite of all Disney resorts.

so glad you had a good time. There have been some recent posts that gave the BC some not so good press and since I'm going there in August,I was alittle concerned.I'll be staying on the concierge floor with a waterview, any info you can share would be great. Thanks

What was currently offered on Concierge Level?

How far is the Magic Kingdom from the BC. Debating attending an Enight and not sure if we should relay on the Disney Bus or drive? Which is better?

Thanks!

Bobrow, the staff was so nice and very helpful to us. we were greeted when we got off the elevator by Emmy saying, "You must be the ladies from Massachusetts!". Right away we felt at home. Kimmy was also very sweet and helpful One of us celebrated a birthday and there were balloons in the room when we returned from a park. The offerings in the longe were yummy. The breakfast was the best. There were juices, danishes, cereals, bagels, toast, donuts and lots of fresh fruit. Mid-day they offered lemonade, water and sodas along wth chips and salsa, popcorn, veggies and dip, and yummy bacon wrapped bread sticks. there was also veggie wraps and pb&j for the kids. They always had a bowl of hershey kisses and Jolly Ranchers along with fruit rollups and gummy worms. Evening the appatizers varied. We were never there for that time. At night you had deserts and cordials, wine and cheese etc. They do only have large glass bottles of water now. When I was at the YC concierge in Feb. with my husband we had the small plastic ones to take to the park.
missymj, we only went to the MK a couple of times. We took the monorail from Epcot and bussed back. The bus is shared with the Yact Club, and Boardwalk from the MK. From the Ak they also share with the swan and Dolphin. We had great luck with the busses and never waited more than 5 minutes.
Hope this helps.
