i know officially they say it operates seasonally, and I've heard rumors parts of it have been gutted inside and it is being used for special events? Anyone have any updates on the pavilion or its future? I just hate seeing such great space go to waste.

Sadly, the WDW site does not say "Open Seasonally" anymore.
The site no longer mentions the attractions of Wonders of Life.

The WoL ATTRACTIONS are completely CLOSED (and their entrances walled up.)

They do use the building's interior space for special gatherings like certain Food and Wine events.

It was open for the Flower and Garden Festival earlier this month. No attractions were open but the building had a lot of displays.

I have some pictures at home and I'll try to post them tonight just to show you what it looks like now.

Wonders of Life was always one of our favorites.

I'd like to see what it looks like now.

Here you go...These were taken on 5/9/08.

The entrance had this sign up.

As you walk in you see the various displays.

The Making of Me was turned into the Making of the EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival.

Cranium Command had a stage in front of it.

Daisy was over in front of Body Wars. She was all alone when I got there and was happy to see me.

The Wonders of Life pavilion used to be one of my favorite places to visit. To me EPCOT should always have some sort of Educational theme to all of it's attractions and WOL was just about a perfect mix of fun and education.

Hey, I miss Cranium Command" too! Especially Buzzy, General Knowledge and the chicken from the pre-show film.

I'm not sure, but I think the last time we were in there was early Jan, 2007. We rode "Body Wars" and it was empty. Also saw "Cranium Command" for the last time. Yeah, it was a very sad place...

WoL attractions (the one's that were still operating) were open to guests for the last time between Thanksgiving 2006 and Jan. 1, 2007.

WDW announced last Fall that the WoL pavillion as we knew it was closed permanently.

How the heck did we miss that lol...we go every May and I never noticed that building lol...where is it? Maybe I have seen it!

The closing of the Wonders of Life Attraction is NOT a rumor!

Right smack dab between the Ellen's Energy and Mission Space. It could easily be missed even when it was open.

As of a week or so ago, they also were not playing the area music outside of the pavilion either. I'm bummed about the stuff inside closing, but I'm more upset about no music. It was some of my favorite background music in the park!

I was lucky enough to be there in December 2006. I managed to get in my one last Cranium Command show before it shut down. :(

Where do you think you are, Disney World?!?!? has got to be one of my favorite lines from any attraction.

We were so lucky to get to see the main attractions at WoL on our very first trip, in December 2006. It looks like that will be our last opportunity, but fortunately we knew it at the time and took lots of video and also spent time just enjoying the place.

We loved Cranium Command, enjoyed Body Wars, and found the other attractions (when they were operational) to be fun.

Hopefully they'll put something great in its place, instead of just letting it rot like so many other closed attractions.

Thanks, Bill Sears.

It really doesn't look like it is coming back, is it? Very sad. :(

That really sucks. I remember riding Body Wars when I was little and always looking forward to riding it (because I thought it was thrilling ;) ) Does anyone remember those stationary bikes they had outside of body wars? Those were another favorite. I'm sad I never got to do Cranium Command (is that what it's called?) Anyone know why they closed down the pavillion?

Anyone know why they closed down the pavillion?

The "stated" reason- they lost it's corporate sponsor.

The "real" reason- Disney no longer wished the pavilion to remain open.

Why do I say that?
Universe of Energy lost it's corporate sponsor years ago.
