Has anyone done this for their kids? My girls will be 5,7 & 10 at the time of our trip. I'm worried the the two older girls will think its a little silly or too young for them. What do you think?

My DD has done it twice. Once at 7 and once at 8 and she loved it. I owuld say the majority of kids were around those ages.

Do you happen to remember how much it costs? I've looked all over and I can't seem to find many details.

My girls have done it every year since 2003! They are 9 and 10 and I just made an ADR for it for our July trip. Your girls will not feel "too babyish". There are lots of 9 and 10 year olds girls there.

I think the new price I was quote was around $40.

I think it is closer to $30 than $40, but here is the link to the info on the DIS website: www.wdwinfo.com/Just_for_kids/teaparty.htm

Enjoy!

Thanks for the link. I might look into that. My kids both finally fall into that age range, so they can do it together (the will be 3 and 7 in May when we go next.) :thumbsup2

I didn't consider it before seeing this thread.

VERY little info on the WDW site. It's at the GF. Thinking about signing the kids up for this or the pirate adventure.

Any more opinions?

My DD will have just turned 3 when we go... probably a bit young for this, right?

I believe they have/or are about to raise the price to $48.

Really??? That is a huge price jump. The link posted has it under $30. To 48 would be a $20 jump. No way I would do it then, but for 28 per child I might consider it.

Well never mind then. Not doing it. It seems like any time Disney has something that is actually a decent deal, they take it away. I price hike like that is too much. I expect a few dollars more, not $14!:sad2:

You know that is exactly how I feel.

The Princess meal in Norway is now going to include photos and the price for the 3 of us will go up almost 20.00 (and the food was not that great to begin with) It WAS a nice place to have some princess time.

Bummer on the price increase. My new 2008 Passporter has it listed at only $28.17/person. (And it says ages 4 to 10 for those who were wondering if your kids were the right age.)

My DD went last year at age 6 and loved it. I imagine that your younger two would have fun. I'm not sure about the 10 year old though. Just kind of depends on her personality. Is she at the age where it might be more cool to have a lunch date with mom during that time? If so, you & she could go to the restaurant at the GF (I think there's a CS there, but not positive) while the two younger ones are at the tea party?

Heads up on price...did it last summer for 31 a kid. that included tax. Just booked it again yesterday for this summer and it is now 42.60 a kid. I asked her why so high and she didn't know. So-it went from 28 (base price) to over 40. Huge jump in my opinion.

When I made our ADR for July the price had changed to $42. All the other years it was a little over $30 including tax. Strangely enough the Pirate Cruise is still in the $30 range.

Since this is the last year dd (10) will be doing I still booked it even with the price increase.

I don't believe 3 year olds are allowed at the Tea Party. Its my understanding that it's for 4-10 year old children.

Anyone know if they will make substitutions for food? I am very concerned that PBJ is on the menu as I have a peanut allergic daughter. I know she won't eat it, but if it's all around her, this is a major worry. Thanks!
