Wondering if we should skip Fantasmic on an After Hours party?

If Fantasmic is scheduled for 9:30pm and the After Hours party starts at 9:30pm...are we possibly looking at 45 minutes - an hour being "taken away" from the party? I'm just thinking of crowds leaving once the show is over, etc. (and guessing crowds will migrate toward Tower of Terror?)

I'm with 2 other adults who have never seen Fantasmic (I've only seen it at Disneyland). Do you think we'd have better use of that time while the party is going on over in Star Wars or Toy Story?

We love Fantasmic but we don't try to squeeze it in during After Hours. The night goes by really fast. We like to enter at 7, get a snack, get in line for Rise around 8pm and work our way through the back of the park, finishing at ToT. This gives us time to stop and meet characters and our favorite rides multiple times.

Definitely wasting too much time doing it during after hours plus it takes a long time for theatre to empty so you are wasting valuable ride time.
