DD16, Lauren, was excited to hear there is another 16 year old on board and if I remember correctly, Hannah is a Dr. Who fan too!

Becky, I wonder if you have crossed paths with DB and DSIL in Puyallup. I grew up in Olympia and love the NW.

Cayla, I would love to have you add us to FB, but alas I am one of the few hold outs who doesn't have a FB page. We would, however, like to participate in the FE. Probably just 1 of our cabins, however, as I think DD12 will spearhead the fun. She's our crafty one.

I believe that on your booking date you can book both a brunch and a dinner. If you want more you'll have to wait until after boarding. Make sure that you book your brunch first though as they tend to book out quicker than the dinners. Of course on a 14-day cruise with so many at sea days I doubt that will happen.

Thanks for sharing those photo's of your WBPC Cruise from last year Robin & Angel "D". How were you able to get the photo of the Wonder going thru the locks on the PC webcam from the WBPC Cruise? I would like to get one of our cruise in September this year.

I believe that on your booking date you can book both a brunch and a dinner. If you want more you'll have to wait until after boarding. Make sure that you book your brunch first though as they tend to book out quicker than the dinners. Of course on a 14-day cruise with so many at sea days I doubt that will happen.

The Canal Crossing Picture, we had a friend capture it for us @ home. They new we were going through....they didn't know what time. Very patient, they were...It's a great pic.

I'm going on a river cruise this coming Saturday from Normandy to Paris on Grand Circle. Friends of mine went on the Danube River Cruise with Grand Circle and loved it. I'll let you know the pros and cons when I get back.

While Martin can take more than 10, I'd personally like to keep the group small. The tour begins as you take the transportation inside the port, then we continue to see the beautiful houses and the fortress in Manga Island, the next stop is La Popa Monastery where you are going to have a beautiful view of the whole city, as this is the highest point of Cartagena.
Upon arriving to San Felipe Castle, you would see why this is the most important and largest example of military architecture left by the Spaniards in America.
Next we will go to the Old City, we are going to see Las Bovedas, these are also an example of Military architecture along with the walls, they function now as Tourist shops, where you can buy all types of handicraft made by local artisans. As we continue to walk around the old town, we will see the beautiful streets, houses, squares and churches Cartagena has, to give you a unique experience of living the History in every step you take, we will go inside of San Pedro Claver Church, the patron of slaves in Colombia and African Americans.
The tour continues in the modern part of the City, we will have a panoramic view of Bocagrande, the beach area and the island of Tierra Bomba, with a stop at the Emerald Museum, to be witness of the whole History and legends about the emeralds and its manufacturing.

Excursion Length: 4:30 approximately

You know we had never done any group things or activities on any of our cruises either Becky. Until our B2B cruise on the Disney Dream. We became acquainted with someone also doing a B2B on the Dream, same cruise as us, here on the DIS Board. We linked up our ressies so we could share the same table at dinner, and we did other activities on board the ship together, like a Palo Brunch. Donna and I had a GREAT time. And, we made some wonderful friends, who we hope to sail with again sometime in the future. We all are going to have a GREAT time on board the ship together and have sooooo much fun!!!

Beginning to get excited! Just went through and updated my toiletries/ med bag which I always keep handy for quick escapes, but now had to make sure I had enough essentials for 3+ weeks! Today, I'm organizing my files/ tickets/ confirmations and the FE stuff I've been gathering. Time will move quickly from now until Sept.! ( It is moving faster and faster because of my age!)
