Your wife sounds like mine Steve. And I am the socially awkward one of us two. I can never find the right words to say. I am sometimes backward, standing behind wifey peeking around her shoulder at who we are talking to. (I just knew I wouldn't be able to say that with a straight face!!!) But seriously ya'll, wifey is much more sociable then yours truly.

Just quickly surfing the threads here, and haven't read far right to see if anyone else has said anything, but if you do the group brunch, it will count as your one "allowed" booking and you won't be able to book another online.

That is correct. The group brunch will count as your allowed brunch. You will still be able to book a dinner. Once onboard you can then place another reservation for a brunch when they have opened up the reservations for all. Since there are so many at sea days we should have no problem snagging two or three brunches. At least I would think so.

I was on DCL website and was looking at the "my activities" page and on Day 10 (Cartagena) it shows the Pirate Party for anyone who is interested.

We have 9 confirmed @ rate of $65. per person. We CAN ADD a few more people if anyone else is interest. PLEASE PUT THIS ON YOUR CALENDARS as we are now confirmed!
As for payment, I will collect * everyone's deposit payment (by July 15, 2014 ) so I can make a 20% ($13.00 USD per person) deposit for the group and everyone can pay the balance in pesos to me once the cruise starts so that way we make just one final payment at the conclusion of our 4.5 hr tour.
THOUGHT: everyone can tip individually ( in dollars or Columbian pesos) at their discretion.
Does this make sense?
Martin will confirm our ship's arrival time and meet us at the dock 30 min. after we arrive. He'll have a sign "Maria Linden Tour Group" but I'm open to something a bit more Disneyfied , not dignified!

You know we had never done any group things or activities on any of our cruises either Becky. Until our B2B cruise on the Disney Dream. We became acquainted with someone also doing a B2B on the Dream, same cruise as us, here on the DIS Board. We linked up our ressies so we could share the same table at dinner, and we did other activities on board the ship together, like a Palo Brunch. Donna and I had a GREAT time. And, we made some wonderful friends, who we hope to sail with again sometime in the future. We all are going to have a GREAT time on board the ship together and have sooooo much fun!!!

Thanks for the info David, I know Brad and I will love this cruise and all of the new friends we will be meeting I just wish it would hurry up and get here already, lol

That's one thing with moving I'm going through my purple personal items bag and finding things I never knew I had. Oy. 65 days until my sister gets married and 140 days until we cruise, and 7 days until I move.

Maria, try finding a post each of us has posted and click on their DIS Name in their avatar. You should then get a drop down box that allows to click on, for example, "Send davidls a Private Message." That should work. You will probably have to send us a PM individually that way instead of a group PM. (I've never sent a group PM, I'm sure it can be done, I just never have done this so I have no knowledge of how to send one.) Oh wait a minute, when you pick one to send a PM to for example to me, davidls, it takes you to where you write your message. My DIS Name appears in the sending to box, there you can add any additional DIS Names you want your message to go out to.
