Wonderful Panama Canal Sept 2014

As far as the weather here in Florida, today back up around 78 degrees. (Now that's more like it!!!) But tomorrow, only 70 and Wednesday only 65, and then it's suppose to get cooler from there. What a roller coaster ride!!!

Oh want to pass along some info for everyone. There is to be shown on the Destination America channel on TV a 1 hour long show about the "Disney Cruise Line's Re-Imagineering the Magic," this Saturday 1/18/2014 at 9pm, for anyone who wants to see it.

I would like to gilchrest94 to the cruise. We are going to have sooooooo much fun on this cruise. I'm not from the San Diego area so I can't help with your hotel question. I know some in our group have booked their hotel rooms and I'm sure they will help you and lynandandy with your hotel plans.

Added to the giant first aide kit today: pepto, a couple bandanas, and safety pins. I've gone through a dozen or so travel sites and tried to come up with a super awesome first aide kit. I feel like I might add some of those "tattooed bandaides" which are like tegaderm, good for water and owies. And an ace wrap maybe thrown in there. Oh and get cortisone cream on my way to the boat.

Yes we now just wait to see how many are joining the FE group. If I am not mistaken, the plan is to split it into 2 different groups if the list gets too long. That decision will be made by the person monitoring the FE group something like 6 to 8 weeks from our sail date. This will give everyone time to buy or make their FE gifts. And you will know how many to buy or make. You can give your FE gifts to just those in your group or to everyone who joined, that is up to you.

We have been near 70 and sunny sunny sunny here in NorCal. I am SICK of it!!! Bring on some rain! I dread what this summer has in store because we are WAY TOO DRY!!!!!

I know what you mean. A few years ago, Florida was having a sever drought. We just couldn't seem to get the rain we needed either.

But today, right now it is raining, a good soaking type of rain. This is in front of a cool front going to pass thru later to dry us out and turn the temps cooler for the next week.

Is this different from Disney Cruise Line: Behind the Magic? I have this one recorded. Guess I better set the dvr just in case this one is new.

Just went to the Destination Channel and discovered it is a new one from 2014 being followed by the one I mentioned....I have all of these saved on my dvr. I know...I know...I'm a total Disney geek. Walt is my hero. Did anyone else cry at the end of Saving Mr. Banks when they showed the real life pictures of Walt with P.L. Travers?

I need to set aside a weekend to work on FEs. Some are homemade and some are being purchased. I have all of the parts to make our hanger, just have to get it out of my head and into reality.

I'm having some issue with the magnets that I had created for our door. They don't want to print right. The only one I have gotten to print correctly is the Tigger face I will cut out and place around our room number.

I hadn't thought about packing a first aid kit but I guess it would be a good idea. I love these boards for all the info that could end up being a godsend.

Yeah. You will probably have my room number. I'll be the gal with the golden retriever and white lab (covered in mud... because I live in Washington and we have mud) magnets. I just figure: if crow hits the fan, which I am prone, I want to have my tush covered. Come on down? Around? Not a doctor.

I liked "Saving Mr. Banks," but a lot of Walt and PT's relationship was made up because they hated each other. She was blocked from attending the premier. And so I just questioned a lot of that movie. I liked hearing her talk. There's a documentary called "The Sherman Brothers" regarding their relationship.

-general painkillers - advil/tylenol/aleve
-candied ginger for upset tummy/seasickness
-ace wrap
-zip lock bags (to make ice packs)
-antacids
-benedryl
-ALL YOUR PRESCRIPTIONS
-bandaids
-mole skin (for blisters)
-immodium
-miralax
-potty wipes (to clean up after the above medications!)
-feminine hygiene products (extra - one never knows!)
-scissors
-medical tape
-4x4 dressings
-2x2 dressing
-anti chafe cream
-lamisil cream

Other useful items:
suction cups (for mirrors to hang up stuff)
clips (to hook on the suction cups)
extension block/cord - there are 3 outlets and one is for the wave phones
if in an inside cabin - some type of nightlight (those cabins are very dark)
q tips
head bands
wind breaker
chapstix or carmex
bug spray
sun screen
nail file
sewing needle & clear nylon thread
solid or spray air freshener for bathroom (they backwash occosionally)
