I checked on ours today- they were delivered on the 23rd! So they'll be waiting when we get home!


Interesting note- DH found a 7 night Magic cruise on vacations to go email for $2200 for cat 6 for 2 adults! This was for mid-September! Wish I had the time and funds to go!

So you can check on the status? Is that on the main passport website??

I'm expecting it to cost about $200 for my passport and DD11's. Is that about right?

I googled passport application status and it took me to the place- enter last name, birth date, and last 4 of social and it popped up the info- said they were done, and delivered and gave me the delivery confirmation number. They came Priority mail, if that helps any.

And yep, they were right around $200 for the 2 of us.

If I remember right childrens passports are $75 but they are only for 5 years. but that is ok because with 11 year olds when they expire the kids will be old enogh for the adult passport

My appointment is tomorrow and then DD's is on Saturday for our passports. Hopefully it will go well. I've been trying to get caught up on my work now b/c when I get back I have a week long trial and then two smaller trials immediately afterwards. I better get good rest sitting beside the pool b/c when I get back......

yep... we were just discussing yesterday... going to do one of the 6 night cruises next summer (stops in Key West). We will probably book one for early 2010 as well (our goal is to be on the Wonder at least every quarter, it is perfect stress releif)

That is an amazing goal - make sure you both have some long talks with my hubby while we're on board - I'd love that to be our goal too!

Add me and my mom to the list of lawyers that will be on the boat! We both practice family law.

I have a divorce trial scheduled to start two weeks after we get back from the cruise and it should last for several days. I was hoping to have it all over with before we went on vacation, but no such luck.

Yep! I will be booking a "dummy date" and will transfer my discount to the Panama Canal Repo in 2011. That's the plan, anyway....

I've been trying to think of something for the FE that is only in KY or at least synonymous with KY. I've been struggling. I can't give everyone a Thoroughbred and I don't think tobacco is appropriate, but we did think of something that you can only get in KY, made right here. Is everyone bringing something from your home state or country for the FE?

I was thinking about it, but I'm not sure if I will. It just all depends.

I'm going to make some stuff because I couldn't think of something from Virginia, outside of postcards. But maybe something will come to mind.

P.S. My DD would love you forever if you managed to put a horse in her FE pocket. But I understand why you can't - they are just a bit too large.

LOL. DD would love to have one for herself. Those crazy subdivision rules tell us we can have a horse in the back yard.
