Thanks, guys. I've got a lot of thinking to do. I hope to have this settled by the end of next month. By that time, I should know if my friend is taking serious steps or not. I'd love for his son to experience a DCL cruise, but not at the expense of a repeat of what happened at WDW.

Hurraaaay! Welcome to the group! I am still in a gty room 5B so I have a feeling no assignment will be made on this sold out cruise till we are really close to checking in. I am happy to see some people are still able to nab cabins despite the lack of availability.

I know what you mean. I haven't even taken the first one yet, not sure if I'll even like it, but I'm already planning an Alaska for June and a WDW/Bahama combo for next November and I'm really wanting to do the Med cruise too! LOL

I got it...just replied..sorry for the tardiness... having a stressful week on this end... we came thisclose to having to cancel both our PC and this cruise... hopefully everything will be clearer in the morning! Think good pixie dust thoughts for us!

Hi everyone!

In an effort to assist some of us who are on the PC cruise as well.. I am going to ask that if you wish to do the FE - that you sign up by October 1st.

I know that this is still almost 4 months before our cruise but I also know that things can get a little crazy as the Fall Holiday season starts and this way I can get a list together.

Since the cruise is basically sold out (I know a cabin falls off here or there) - I don't think we will have a lot of late add-ons but if someone does add-on and wants to particpate - we should probably still be okay.

I'd like to do the FE. Since this is our first cruise I'm not sure exactly how it works, but it sounds like fun and who doesn't like to get surprise gifts?!

I will add you. How it works is basically that you hang up a FE on the fish outside your door. You drop of a small fun item for others in thiers and they do they same for you.

I am a travel agent so I work on commission only and since things have been kind of slower this year... it puts a strain on us. We will just hope for the best and move ahead..we all need this vacation a lot! Hopefully business picks up and things will be bright once again!

Boy, by the time January rolls around... I'm really gonna need this cruise. Even if it only two nights. Sept. is already beating me up and I've got a very busy holiday season to look forward to. The way I see it, I'll probably end up working nearly every flippin' day of September. (shorthanded at work and busyier than usual for this time of year)

I hear ya Steve! Now till the elections will be very busy for me at work and the week after the election we move to a new building. I MIGHT have a bit of a break between Thanksgiving and Christmas, sure hope so!
