We will spend the first night at the Grand Californian and then we spend three nights with friends that live in Southern California. On the Friday I am planning to spend the day at California Adventure. The last time I was there Carsland and Buena Vista Street were not open. On the Saturday we will go to Disneyland with our friends and have lunch at Club 33.

I really wanted to wait until I got confirmation from DCL for the Tea day and time before posting payment instructions, but since I know that there are some B2B cruisers and possibly some that even have a Disneyland trip before that, I decided it was time to go ahead put this up. The information below explains the process for sending me payment via paypal and the end I list the email address to send money to. Please remember to include your name or disboards name in the comments with your payment. Most people owe $11.25 per person unless just partaking of strawberries ($2.75pp). Also, if you have any questions or feel uncomfortable using paypal, please feel free to contact me. Also, please feel free to wait until DCL has given me a time before sending me your payment – I’m just putting this up now in case there’s anyone who needs it.

CREATING AN ACCOUNT
Go to www.paypal.com
At the top right you will have the option to sign up or log in. If you don’t have an account click ‘sign up’ and follow the instructions to create a ‘Personal Use’ account. You may receive an email to activate your account.

LINK YOUR PAYPAL ACCOUNT TO YOUR BANK ACCOUNT
Once you have an account you can add your bank account to it. There should be a link to ‘Add your bank account’ under ‘Notifications’ on the right side of the screen when you’re on the My Account -> Overview page. Click ‘Add your bank account’ and fill in the information on the next page(s) to add your account.

Note: If you don’t wish to link your bank account and would prefer to pay by debit or credit card you may do so. Just skip this step and go straight to the instructions for send money. Note that you will have a small fee ($0.30+2.9%*Amount=$0.63) if you send money via a credit or debit card.

SEND MONEY
Once you have your bank account linked to your paypal account you can send money. Just click the ‘Send Money’ tab next to the ‘My Account’ tab at the top of the screen. Type in the email address of the person you are sending money to and the amount you wish to send. Click the radio button for ‘I’m sending money to family or friends’ and click ‘continue’. Confirm the instructions that follow and that’s it. You are all done.

we stayed at the Grand Cali in November. our room overlooked the giant ferris wheel and laser show... quite the awesome view. ( 6th floor)

have fun!! Carsland is awesome!! the snacks in this area are really good too!!

This will be our 4th stay at Grand Californian and I love it. Last time round we had an amazing view of World of Color. This time round I won't get to see it as it will be around midnight when we get there and we are only there for one night. I suppose we could try to convince our husbands to hang around for it on the Saturday and watch it from the park.

This has kind of fallen into my lap. DH is doing a bit of work every now and again for some lawyers in California. So he had made it his mission to get us a reservation for Club 33. However, they are all in the Bay area and his efforts were not crowned by success.

When we were at Disneyland after our Hawaii cruise last year, we met up with friends for lunch at Blue Bayou and while we were waiting for them to arrive, I took a photo of the door for Club 33. There were essentially two reasons for the photo. I love how it looks and when I did did my Trash the Dress photo shoot for my vow renewal in 2011 at Mickey's Halloween Party, we took this photo:



At the time that whole area of New Orleans Square was boarded up and I wanted to document what it really looks like.

Anyway, I posted the photo that was taken last year on my trip report and got a response asking how I could post a photo like this without a caption. I responded rather flippantly that the only suitable caption would be "A Girl Can Dream". The next thing I knew I had a message saying "Well, let's make this dream come true the next time you come to Southern California." I think at the time I actually squealed. I have to say I still did not really believe my luck until I had the confirmation in my hands.

One time I was standing outside of Club 33 daydreaming and I saw some people coming out.

I asked a kindly old janitor man who was sweeping in the area where that door lead (I was playing dumb) and he responded, "You know, I don't ever think I even noticed that door before."
