Hi ! Just Dropped Off Dd 15yr At School 8:00 This Am, Then Headed Down To Port Everglades! Port Is 10 Min. From The House. Was Great To See The "wonder", Having Been On The Ship Twice In The Last 6 Months. Now Getting Ready To Pick Up Dd And Head Back To The Port, Will Bring Tissues! The Sight Of The Ship Makes Her Flow Like A Faucet!

The 3 1/2 hour bus ride back to Port Canaveral wasn't wonderful. I was glad that Capt Henry decided to change the port since when we got off the bus to get our car it was very windy.

Hello, I just got back from seeing the Wonder with my daughter (15) at Port Everglades a little while ago and am now back on my own name, I had post using her's (SKMinnie48) earlier.

The ship was very close and we could even hear the music being played aboard the wonder. It was great to see it again and my daughter was in tears at seeing her favorite ship another time. Here are some pictures my daughter took with her cell phone of the Wonder in Port down here in Fort Lauderdale. We both love seeing the ships down here, but nothing compares to boarding the ship through those two giant Mickey Ear's up in Port Canveral, hehe!

P.S. More pictures are to come I will continue to post some of the ones we took and the pictures will be posted under my daughter's name.

The Disney Wonder in Fort Lauderdale, Port Everglades 9/8/05

The trip was extremely tiring. Got to the port at 9:30 and didn't get on the road til 10:20. Then a stop at rest area as it wasn't a Disney bus. Long delay and we arrived at 2ish.
Processing wasn't too bad but Parrot Cay was closed so we had to go up to the buffett. Sail away party was empty.I think we are sailing at 8.
Saw another bus load just get on at 6:30.The weather is really hot,humid but no rain!!!!
The view from the verandah is beautiful. Have a navigators for the first time and very pleased.Always had cat 6. They say the ship is booked as there is a sign stating no upgrades available.
Looking forward to a great restful few days..............

I also took my DD4 to see the Wonder today. It is beautiful! My DD4 cried as we were driving away - I told her we couldn't get on the boat until next week. She wouldn't stop crying so I finally told her it was dirty and we had to wait until it was cleaned before we could get onboard! I'm just waiting for her to tell me the ship is clean now - can we go?

I was heading south on the Turnpike earlier this afternoon and saw a broken down DCL bus and about 50+ cruisers waiting to be rescued. What a nightmare for them. I hope they all got on board safely and are enjoying their cruise now!
