I’ve about decided just to stay put on the Wonder and go where she takes me in Feb. Not 100% but...

I was looking at options for cabins out of curiosity. I am currently in 2000 - I typically love being forward, so I am not concerned about the motion there. BUT I see that three of the “secret verandah cabins (those 7As that are more like the 7As on the Dream Class) are still available. And not a ridiculous increase.

Can anyone who has stayed in those (6134, 6634, or 7620) comment as to how they were - noise, vibration, motion (doesn’t bother me...I like it)? Would you switch?

Did not stay in them but based on reviews, the 7620 has made a lot of people happy.

While I haven't tried a NV on the Wonder, the one I had on the Dream really made me happy. I just love them.

I would not hesitate to secure one...

I’ve stayed in both and OV deck 2 on Wonder and 7620 on Magic. I’d definitely take 7620 every single time! While I love deck 2 also, nothing beats sitting on my balcony reading away from the crowds. I don’t remember any out of the ordinary noise or vibration. We had it for a B2B2B totalling 11 nights and I used the balcony a lot. The location was really convenient to the food and pool deck which was a major bonus to my son. We probably used the stairs more this cruise than any other.

I've been in 2504 on the Magic and Wonder as well as 6634 and 7620. If the cost is negligible, I'd definitely upgrade. I didn't notice any vibrations or anything out of the originally in 6634 or 7620.

Thanks,
Heather

Not sure how long your stateroom options will be available, but we'll be in 7620 on The Wonder Oct. 15th and can let you know our thoughts if you still need.

Thanks all! I think I may go for 6134 - I’m a Port-side girl. Lol.

Go for it! We were in room 6134 on the Wonder and it was perfect! There was very little obstruction on the top left side of the balcony. It didn't effect us at all. I tried post a picture but can't get it to load.

I prefer portside and 7120 is my favorite cabin on the ship (unless I win the lottery and get the stay in the Walt!) 6134 is also great. It seems to me the aft stairs and elevator are often less crowded and I have never had significant issues with vibration in the aft.

We were close to 6634 on the Magic (6630, so a few doors down). We only heard noise once early morning when they were apparently doing some kind of maintenance on the outside of the ship near our cabin, otherwise, no more noise than we typically experience.

We were in 7620 on Wonder last NYE. The room is very well located and free from noise from the other decks. However, we had MAJOR vibrations during the entire cruise. It was generalized in the aft portion of the ship. I saw videos on YT from other guests on the same cruise that caused them to be moved to another stateroom. In our room, it caused the walls to clang with the ceiling. It was so bad that I had trouble sleeping the first two nights. It was a known problem since there were small wood inserts - not enough it seems - around the room. This was not long after the dry dock. Maybe it has been resolved since then.

You wouldn't happen to have your personal navigaotrs you could share with me?

We had 6134 in Alaska. It was awesome. Quiet and very convenient.

It was our first time staying aft or port and we loved it.

Actually, we booked the same room (and the inside across the hall) on the Magic next summer.

These are not true NV cabins...they are open verandas with slight obstructions in the upper corner. I have stayed in them 2 or 3 times and would absolutely stay in one again. The obstruction was so little it did not affect my viewing at all.

I know that, but they are CLASSIFIED as 7A.
