I was on this cruise! So much excitement for my first cruise, first we picked up the 11 refugees then two days later we picked up 2 "americans".

I had heard the call for the first 11 but the call for rescue of the other two we were in the Walt Disney Theater watching Toy Story the Musical when the show was over they announced to the audience that we had two new guests, Americans, that they had picked up a distress call.

I'm wondering if they came from the sail boat I had seen about 2 hours earlier. We were up on Deck 9 and I was starring out when I had noticed a sailboat out in the distance, a few of us all said it didn't seem like a place for that type of vessel given the current waves.

I had asked my dining table mates, who were experienced cruisers, if this was typical that we rescued people, they said it was rare for us to have a rescue, even more so two rescues in one trip.
