Can anyone provide intel on the cost and performance of internet above the Wonder in Alaska? Assessing ability to work as needed from the ship while on upcoming cruise. Thanks!

I don’t have an exact answer to your question, but I found that my cell service worked for much of our Alaska cruise. I would just tether my laptop to my phone and access the internet that way. I have AT&T and it even treats Canada as part of the network so I don’t get charged international there.

We just sailed on the May 12, 2025, Alaska Cruise. We got the Premium Surf Package, it was $441.00 for two devices. My wife was able to use MS Teams with no issue for job interview. No connection issues at all whiles at sea. By the way, she got the job!!
We were on the same sailing :wave2:

One of us decided to use AT&T's International Day Pass that now includes cruises. I would say that coverage was pretty mediocre on the ship (phone was pretty reliable but not always and internet was slow). New friends we made had the wifi like @xfiles3010 and it seemed like a perfect connection. OP, I would go that route! (FWIW, I bought the basic wifi for a day on the Fantasy last fall and it was almost useless for just trying to send a few emails).

I was on the May 12th sailing as well and it was $245 for one device for the week. Didn't have any connectivity issues.

June 9-16, three devices for $400, speed was not blazing but was consistent. We did have to visit Guest Services and they made a quick change to settings on our iPhones and they worked fine from then on. Pictures on social media would take a second or few to load, but it was fine.
