I think some people get the impression that I am walking around with labels plastered all over me.
To set the record straight, I buy my jeans at Aeropostale, and only when they are on clearance (several pair were less than $10). I have purchased exactly one sweater there in my life, and DD has taken it from me this year. I also have two winter coats from there that I absolutely love. I have never set foot in Hollister or A & F, and I have been in AE exactly one time (years ago with my sister who is 11 years younger than me). As I mentioned early on in the thread, I tend to stick with Target and Old Navy/Gap for shirts because they carry an XS in the women's department. I do shop in the junior's department from time to time, but I never buy revealing/too tight/too young looking clothes. I am a very modest dresser, and I dress to my body type and age. It just so happens that some of my clothes come from a different area of the store because they fit better. I shouldn't have to swim in a top that is too big simply because I'm 36. I buy what I like, and I buy what I want. If someone has an issue with what I wear, so be it. That's their problem, not mine.
Stepping off my soapbox now.
