We are finally going to try WPE after many trips to WDW. I have always been worried about the ordering situation, it is a bit intimidating to me since I have many food allergies and not just the typical ones. I can't have any mushrooms, fruits, mustards, just to name a few. I saw some things on the menu that looked good but not sure if they will modify something or not there. I don't just want to get the rotisserie chicken, I want to try something like the turkey club, but it has Remoulade on it, do they have just mayo?

I tried Ohana's last trip and everyone told me they would be great with allergies, and the food they gave me was horrible. I am just hoping this will turn out better, and it is only a QS, not a TS meal.

1) Sit down eateries and fast food are different.
2) At TS-eateries, they can make up menu items.
3) At fast food, they can just leave things off - maybe.
4) You can ask for substitutions.
. . . if the additions are done at the eatery, no problem
. . . if it comes that way, then there is no chance
5) Just be careful, very careful
. . . TS-eateries sometimes have an extra grill
. . . this allows food-prep separation for allergies only
. . . fast food places DO NOT have an extra grill
. . . all foods are cooked on the same devices

NOTE: As a sample from another eatery:
. . . chicken Ceasar salad for vegetarians, they leave off the chicken
. . . chicken Caesar salad for vegans, they serve without Caesar dressing
. . . for nut allergies, they can only serve pre-packed food

It's also not a Disney restaurant. Sometimes they are less flexible and have fewer options for special diets.

We did not have success with WPE on our last trip. Despite having told them we were coming through "special diets" they still weren't able to accommodate my son's multiple allergies. They were very nice about it... but that didn't get him fed!
