I'm joining some others for lunch in two weeks and I've never been to WPC. Other than fish, any suggestions for what to try? I've read a menu and saw a chicken dish with sho-yo cream. Anyone know what sho-yo cream is?

Looking forward to trying a new place.

My sister and I ate at Wolfgang Puck's Cafe in August 2006. I had that dish (the Macadamia Nut Crusted Breast of Chicken) and it was one of the best meals my entire trip. I would say that meal and a dinner we had at Kona Cafe were tied for first place.

The butternut squash soup was pretty good at Wolfgang Puck's Cafe, too. And I loved the crab cakes!

I also liked the Macadamia Nut Crusted Chicken. DH had Wolfgang's Meatball with buccatini pasta, which he loved! We've been twice and will be going back next trip.

WPC is one of our favorite places. We always hit it at least once on each trip.

If you like Sushi, you have to try their daily special rolls. Each day the have a special roll, and they are always great.

The pizzas are great!! Macadamia chicken is very good. They have a 1/2 chicken on the dinner menu that is very good, and you can request it for lunch if you would like.

Thanks for the suggestions. My thought is either the chicken or the margherita pizza. I'd also like the try the butternut squash soup.

Oh the margharita pizza at WPC is excellent too. DH had some a few weeks ago! Yum.

The macadamian crusted chicken is my daughters favorite....and her favorite meal at Disney, mine is the pumpkin ravioli. We also always get sushi for an appetizer.
We just love it here!!

:goodvibes

I think they changed the chicken. Last year it had some mango sauce on it or around it and it was fab (I usually never do fruit in my dinner but this was exceptional). This year it was with the shoy yu. I thin it is a type of soy sauce?

I had pumpkin ravioli which was good. My mother had the flat iron steak and it was awesome! I would definitely get it next time.

Enjoy.

Get the macadamia chicken! At our table, we had a mixture of that and the flat iron steak. While I LOVED the wild mushroom hash that came with my steak, it just didn't compare to the flavor of the chicken and the sauce. The desserts were awesome, too! I had the vanilla creme brulee.
