I went to bed feeling like I need help too :rolleyes1 . Here is my story.

I have booked two nights at Wilderness Lodge, really want to stay here :thumbsup2 . I booked 4 nights at Beach Club, but not feeling like I really want to stay there :sad2: . I am starting to stress over too many things. You know the what should I, am I doing the right thing blues.

I realized I need to use a travel agent to take care of all my vacation booking needs. It's too hard to try and make my phone calls from work (you know how that can be). I'm over reading things here on the Dis, although all the advice and thoughts are so helpful and I love it, my head is spinning :confused3 .

So after my long winded story, what travel agents did you use, if you used any? Any likes or dislikes about using them?

We have always used Dreams unlimited. Located on the home page of the Dis boards. Everything can be done via e-mail. For my ADR's all I had to do is, e-mail them with when and where and poof it was done. I have used them for three years and have no complaints, just Disney magic.

I'm using AAA in Garden City.

They're not Disney Experts, but they've been able to accomodate what I've asked them to do. I can give you their number and email if you want.

And, by the way, do you have the AAA discount on your trip?

I won't use anyone but Jessica at The Magic For Less. She is competant, friendly, efficient and just a dream to work with!

Allyson :)

Magic For Less as well. Have used the same TA 3 times now. I am sure there are other Disney TA's that are great too though.

If you're feeling overwhelmed, I would definitely go with an agent that's a Disney specialist, so they can help you narrow your choices and you can feel confident that you're getting knowledgable advice. When you're choosing an agent, you want to ask if they're an "authorized Disney vacation planner." If you search on the web, they'll have a logo displayed on their website.

Good luck!

We've used Small World Travel for the past several years and they've been extremely thorough. I would contact them and see what they can do for you. They can be found at the MouseSavers website.

We always use Missy Beaverson with Small World Vacations, Inc. She's super fast with everything, looks for the best deals on EVERYTHING and her services are totally free. If you'd like her email send me a pm.;)

I've never used a travel agent, but can tell you BC is AWESOME!!! It's my favorite resort and the location is wonderful!!! I have to make all my reservations so if I get there and they are screwed up, I can only blame myself!!!:thumbsup2

Don't stress and have a great trip!!!

I am currently using Small World Vacations. My TA has been extremely helpful and is a pleasure to work with.
I don't think you can go wrong with either Small World or Dreams Unlimited from what I have read.
They know their stuff.
But just for fair warning.. you're still going to obsess. It's part of the Disney disease:hug:

AAA with a TA who is a Disney Specialist. This is the 3rd time using this agent and always pleased with the service. This year, for our upcoming April trip to POR, we only actually talked to her on the phone once and did the rest via (many, many) emails, which worked perfectly.....

I booked through Disney. I went to AAA today to see if they could beat Disney, NO WAY!! They would have cost me $700 MORE!!

I actually called Disney and reduced the price of mine by $300 today - but getting a standard view as opposed to a water view....

what a different that made!!!

I TOTALLY understand your feelings!

Not sure if this is your first trip or not, but we used Expedia for our first trip, the whole trip was spent at WL. I don't mind telling you, I was FREAKING OUT at the cost! WDW had ALWAYS been a dream of mine, the DH grew up in Florida and had been as a child, I'd never been, we booked our trip, and I freaked and obsessed about everthing, I called the Expedia folks, and the resort so many times, it was unreal! Friends gave "well meaning" advice which truly only made things worse to the pt that I was a wreck for the first day of our trip....then I relaxed...ahhh...took in all the beauty of the resort and realized that I'd gotten some pretty off the wall advice from well meaning friends!!

So, all that to say--that while Expedia did a great (maybe a tad overpriced) job for us, in my opinion, it's often times less expensive, unless of course, you got an all encompassin package of some sort, to do your own booking.

Good luck and I hope you have a BLAST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Never use a travel agent (for any trip).
Sounds like you have great reservations, my problem is once I check into one resort I hate having to pack up and move......

The best thing is... you can transfer your exisiting disney reservations to Dreams Unlimited and they can take it over and help you out!

You won't need to cancel anything in order to switch to DU!

That is also true for ANY travel agent, provided you don't have ressies with another travel agency. Any 'good" Disney Specialist will take over your booking from CRO or WDW travel and plan everything for you to minimize your stress. :goodvibes

I wish that I could remember the name of the travel agent we used three years ago so that I could refer you to her. She was wonderful. She suggested that I get one season pass so that we would qualify for the passholders discount which saved us 40% on our hotel rooms.

I bet that one of the travel agents listed above will be able to help you. Don't worry too much; you will have a great time and the planning is a big chunk of the fun.
