WOC w/ wheelchair?

Help!! The arthritis in my foot & hip is flairing up I may need to rent a scooter while at DLR. How does WOC work if you have a wheelchair or scooter? We already ordered the WOC picnics so we will have those FPs. Can I use those FPs and sit in the handicapped area? Any info would be great! I'm so bummed-- I hope my joints improve in the next 2 days Thanks

All Disney shows that I can think of have a dedicated handicap area. I think I read somewhere on the boards threre is one.

I also rent a scooter because of a medical condition and have seen WOC twice from the handicapped section. When you come up with your group and fastpasses they will escort you--but you should get there early--we got there at 7:45 and there were already a bunch of people there for the 9 p.m. show--it didn't completely fill up, but it is best to be as close to the rail as possible. Both spots for scooters were taken by then, but they had benches that I could sit on. Have a great time!

We saw the show from our scooters and were very disappointed by the handicapped area. We couldn't see the the bottom third of the water projections.

Plus a guy in the section in front of us hoisted his kid on his shoulders and made a 10 ft person sticking up right in the middle of the middle of the show. I hoping within six to eight months it calms down and we can go back and try it again, or maybe hit the 11:00 show on one of the nights that we're staying over at the hotel at least 5 nights in the next six months.

Sunday night when we were lined up about 7:15-7:30 a cm came by and gathered up all scooters and their parties and took them in before the general lines went in.
