WOC Picnic - I am about to scream!

Help - I am beyond frustrated with the whole WOC picnic thing. I posted a few weeks ago about conflicting schedules for WOC on May 7 (POTC4 Premiere night). Well, I called Disney and not only did I not get clarification on this issue, I got yet a THIRD set of WOC times for that night.

At that point I was fed up and decided to just buy the picnics for the 8pm show and be done with it and hope for the best. But now, I am trying to buy the picnics and have encounted yet another problem. When I try to buy the 2 kids Junior All-American picnics, it give me an error saying, "Some of the products you requested appear to be soldout and/or are no longer available online." What in the world is up with this?

I don't know how to resolve this. I tried calling about it but am told that all picnic sales have to be done online. Well, duh, I would if I could... Then I sent an email to them via customer service but have not gotten a reply.

ANY SUGGESTIONS??? I am so beyond annoyed at this point that I may just bag the whole picnic thing all together.

These truely may be sold out. Is the date you are looking at still 5/7? I remember last year there were a number of posts reguarding pinics being sold out sometimes weeks in advance. Sounds like they make only so many and then they are gone.

You might try the alternate kids meal.

Also you can buy them walk up. Though if they are out already online they may be out last minute too. You might want to get there at 11:30am to be the first to pick up picnics in the case they have some available.

I had this problem when I bought them at the begining of the month. But if you get to the location at 11:15 and wait in line they have some available for that day. But you need to get there early before they open.
The picnic meals are pretty nasty. The one with chicken coleslaw & apple pie, well the apple pie was the only good thing. I hope you like onions because there are tons in the salads.

We ordered our picnics online and we picked them up (3 adults, 1 kids) and all of us really enjoyed our meals. Way better then any pick up windows in the area...I hope you are able to get the picnics, they even have a great area for you to sit and enjoy them in

We ordered an All American adult, an American kids, and a veggie wrap and they were excellent!

FYI- you are also able to "trade in" your coke product for a glass of wine if you like- well you get credit for it and pay the difference on the wine! We loved sitting and enjoying a glass of wine watching the people go by

I was actually surprised at just how easy it was. Previously we had forked over the money for the picnics, but never again. There may be a sucker born every minute, but it isn't me this minute!

Some suckers take time when the rides have no lines getting a WoC Show Pass, and pay $15 bucks for lunch after waiting in a line to order too.

Choose another option. You'll be glad you won't have to worry about it anymore.

We thought the picnic was just fine. Between the 4 of us, we had 4 different meals and all were nice.

No drama with seating, nothing. Just nice and easy. Enjoyed the show and plan to do it again this way.

Agreed. Like I said, we did it once--but when I tried the WOC fast pass lines (which I had previously feared) and found them to be very easy to deal with, I realized I could do away with the picnic option for our next trip. The picnics were okay, none of us really loved them--especially my kids. I ended up buying them something else soon after, because they didn't want to eat the picnic food. The fast passes are the same ones that come in the picnics, so I don't really see much point in paying for one. If you really like the WOC picnic options, then maybe it is worth it for that reason? We are a family of 5, so buying 5 picnics on top of the price of a parkhopper ticket is a bit pricey.

And I was just kidding about the "sucker" thing--I was talking about myself in case there was any confusion.

As with all things having to do with food, everyone's taste is different. I like the Mediterranean picnic enough that I would buy it if it didn't come with a FP for WoC! My husband will eat the all-American to humor me.

Thanks for the input everyone. I ended up just ordering the picnics for the 8pm show and simply chose the other kids meal. While I shudder at the thought of giving them a Smucker's peanut butter and jelly sandwich, oh well, it's just one meal. I just got too sick of dealing with it and now it's done! Hopefully there really will be an 8pm show!!!
