We are celebrating my daughters 14th on March 30th and she really wants to see WOC. Every time we go we never make it a priority :(

Is there really a dinner package? I tried to search for threads on it but only get walt disney world info?!?!

We will be there March 30-April 3 and can do any of those nights. Any info/help/tips would be greatly appreciated :)

I'm doing Carthay Circle dinner WoC package on April 1st - can't wait! My husband's only request for our upcoming CA day is that we eat at Carthay!

It's worth noting that Ariel's Grotto only does WoC Dinner package (no breakfast or lunch packages because they have characters at Ariel's for those meals). WCT and Carthay have both lunch and dinner packages. I know that for Carthay Circle, there is a specific WoC dining package menu and it does not include all things on the full menu (e.g., the House Biscuits are not an option on the dining package menu).

I'm interested in a current report of dining package viewing area. We're still deciding whether to do the dining package or not. Unlike the Fantasmic dining package, I haven't heard that the WoC dining package ensures much of an advantage in the viewing area.

I was wondering the same thing about the viewing area. Is it worth it to get the WoC dining package? Thanks :)

We always do the Carthay Circle WOC Package and I love the viewing area. I'm only 5feet tall and have a 4yr old and we've always been able to see. I'm also impatient and am not willing to stand waiting for a show for 1-2 hours so I appreciate being able to show up 15 minutes before the show and have a reserved area.

I have NOT been since the refurb though, but I can't see that the viewing area would have changed. I recommend CC over WCT.
And you can just order the biscuits separate! BTW the CC WOC Dining costs about the same as if you just dined there and got an app, entree, and dessert anyway.
As I said we ALWAYS do it without fail and have been pleased every time.

The WoC viewing areas have been undergoing some refurbishment while the show has been down, but I don't know if they've done anything to substantially change the viewing areas (or were the refurbishments purely cosmetic?). I would keep an eye on the WoC SuperThread for more information now that WoC has re-opened (at least I think it was slated to start back up on March 13th).

I was pointing out the biscuits as something that was on the regular menu that is not part of the WoC menu. I agree that you can order and pay for the separately, but now you have an extra appetizer because you cannot substitute the biscuits (even if you're willing to pay some type of upcharge) for the appetizers that are included on the WoC menu. The same would be true for any entree or dessert that you wanted. Whenever I've asked, they've said that they cannot substitute items, so you can only order from the WoC menu.

Anyone else willing to chime in or comment on the viewing areas? Fantasmic viewing areas for BB, which we have reservations for April 25th, definitely seem worth it. Everyone seems to say BB is great and a reserved seating area is awesome for our 2 adults and 3 kids (2, 4, 7). More unsure about value vs. food quality and viewing area for CC at WoC which we have reservations for April 24th?

We've done WCT WoC twice and CC three times. While I enjoyed WCT, I think CC is a much better restaurant and would not hesitate to go back again. If you get to the viewing area a bit early you can get a spot right at the railing and have an amazing view. Well worth it in my opinion although I know others disagree.

I've done the Carthay and the Ariel's WOC dinners, although I did lunch at the Carthay. The food was good at both but I prefer the Carthay viewing area. It is also worth putting out a little extra money and getting the house biscuits at the Carthay, they are so good I dream about them!

The last time we did the Carthay Circle WOC meal was the summer before last, but we plan on doing it again this summer. We go for lunch and then ask for the second showing. Even in July the CC area is very uncrowded and if you go for the second showing you don't have to waste a lot of park time waiting for the show. We usually head to the waiting area while the first show is on. When they clear out, they let us in and so far we've always had a rail spot. We love eating at CC and it's a nice break for the middle of day. We don't really care much for WCT at all.
