WM 12:00 am sale ??

For stores that are open already how are they doing the midnight sale? Will all the items be wrapped in plastic wrap or do you think you can get them earlier and pay for them at midnight?

Last year I was able to do all my shopping and head to the register at midnight.

Last year the good thinsg at my WM were wrapped and then they sent people to unwrap at the right times.

We just left our local Walmart. It was empty, but there were a few people already walking around with items in their carts. We asked one of the employees if that was okay, and she said yes, but you will only be able to purchase them at 12:01am or after.

We're getting ready to go back in a few minutes!

The only thing they held back last year were the Zhu Zhu pets. Everything else was up on the shelves. I plan to hit the store at 11pm.

We had a winter storm and the roads are very icy. I'm glad I can get my shopping done before bed. I might save Target until I wake up. I'm not going for any "doorbuster" stuff this year. I'll be the big items online.

After reading the responses of some PPs, DH jumped in the car at 10 and went to Walmart. They have everything out, but I guess at ours they won't let you put it in your cart till midnight. DH said there are tons of employees there policing the flats of products. We're wanting to get MIL a Kitchen Aid mixer, DH said there are only 9 . He said it might get ugly

I got zhu zhu pets this morning at Target online, $15 I think for a set of 4, free shipping, it was $4 each. TRU has them online now also for the same price.

another thread on here said the 12:00 sale stuff doesn't start online till 3 like the 5:00 sales, wasted 2 hours after ordering from TRU of sleep!!!!

Why would a sale that starts at 12:01am in stores start at 3 am online? It is not like Walmart is based on the West coast. Doesn't make sense.
