WLV to Chef Mickey's

We have an ADR at Chef Mickeys for 7:00 a.m.. How are we to get their on time from WLV. I've tried to find the boat schedule but can't seem to find out what time the smaller shuttle boats start running in the morning. Can anyone help me with this info? We are trying to rely on dis transportation. Thanks.

The boat from the Wilderness Lodge starts operating at 6:45 AM. However since you have a 7:00 AM ADR I would take a taxi, because it will get you to the Contemporary a lot faster.

The boat mentioned above is the blue flag launches that run in a circle among the Wilderness Lodge, Contemporary, and Fort Wilderness, in opposite directions.

I would just wait for the launch... you will either be on time or just a few minutes late. If possible, confirm before that day what the start time is with a boat captain (trust nobody else!)

If the boat does not start at 6:45, then check on the bus transportation. WL has a bus to MK, which will operate starting 2 hours before MK opening time (and there may be a bus to the TTC sometimes, ask). A bus to MK won't work if it opens 9am but it will if it opens 8am but you'll need to be out super early (6:15) to get that bus and then walk to the Contemporary or take the one stop on the resort monorail.

Or you can walk it in 30 minutes and arrive really hungry

You cannot walk beween WL and CO, unless you swim part of the way. Pedestrians are not allowed to walk under the water bridge between the two resorts.

Buses to MK start around 6:30 AM. They are usually pretty empty at that time so if you tell the driver that you are going to CO, there is a very good chance that they will take you directly there.

A taxi is a good option since the resorts are so close to one another.

I would take a taxi. We took one "home" to VWL from Contemporary last year. It costs about $6 plus tip. Its a very short ride.
