Wlv 2 Br?

We are going to be staying in a 2 BR lock-off this September. We are new to DVC and have never stayed in the Villas - only the Lodge. Any recommendations for rooms we want/don't want? A long walk to elevators is fine. We'd like a nicer view...

Can you still see the lake from any of the WLV rooms? Does it get real loud by the pool? What about right near the elevator? We have a 3 year old - is the walk as far as they say to the lobby from some of the rooms?

The villas are in a seperate building than the main lodge. It is literally a hop, skip and a jump, through a covered walkway. The lobby of the villas has a game area (with board games and checkers and loads of space to sit) and the health club. You do have to go to the main building to get food & snacks though.

We always seem to be near the elevator and have never had a problem with noise. Personally, I think the resort lends itself to quiet and peacefullness. Maybe because of the vastnes of the building, it just never seems "loud" to me.
