Soon there will be a woods view AP rate room available at WlL for August 18 through the to the 28. It was a really good rate; and I hate having to pass it up. My quote from Dreams Unlimited expires on the 22 of the month; though may email to see if it can be released sooner if someone is interested.

As much as I hate passing up a good deal at a place I really wanted to stay; there are somethings that are more important to me. That is helping a true friend in time of great need. So, the money I would be spending on a vacation is going to help my very best friend.

I found out tonight that my best friend has had no income coming in for quite a while; and in danger of losing her home. I thought she was getting something from Workman's Comp; but apparently they stopped paying her in March. All she really wants is the needed MRI to be done to determine the extent of her knee and possible back injuries. She has been in constant pain and worries about doing more damage with out being properly treated. After being refused the test by her company's insurance she sought a lawyer. She went to court once already in June; but the lawyer for the company didn't show. Now she has to wait until September to go back because the arbitrator is on vacation the entire month of August.

Oh well, I guess WL will have to wait for now. Who knows after she is feeling better we may just have to take a "girls" only trip to WL. Goodness knows she could use a decent vacation!

I DEFINITELY understand your disappointment in missing your trip, but I applaud your big heartedness and generosity. You will get your reward in heaven! I am still feeling a little down; but not because of losing out on another trip. My friend has been through so much in the past couple of years. I keeping believing and telling her things are going to get better; yet they seem to keep getting worse. I know someday that will be true.

They say the quickest way to lose a friend is to loan them money. In some cases that may be very true; which is why I don't consider this to be a loan. So, I don't get to go on a vacation or pay off that credit card bill this month or whatever else I could have done with the money. My friend is more important than than the money; to which she insists on paying back every last time.

I pray that none of us every have to deal with Workman's Comp! What a nightmare! My friend is not a "sue" happy person. In fact if she would have gotten her test to find out what was wrong; she would have never resorted to getting a lawyer. Believe me I know; she is not fond of lawyers (please no offense to anyone who is that profession) after what happened for her daughter's divorce. But that is another story!

Please no praise for me! I didn't post this for that reason! I just wanted to share with people I knew would understand!
However, prayers and PD for my friend and her family would be grately appreciated!
