This is our first post so hi to everyone! We are planning a trip for next January for a group of 12. My husband really wants to stay in the Villas at WL but they do not have the 3 bedroom villas. Does anyone think it would be a good use of points to have 2 of the 2 bedrooms at WL just to be closer to MK?:confused3 I am just thinking to myself so many points I could save by staying in a 3 bedroom somewhere else(especially OKW)

Two-two bedroom villas are helpful at keeping the peace in the family. So you might also consider that. Plus, you will have a little extra space in each villa instead of being at full occupancy in the GV. You might even be able to leave the living room sofa closed up instead of using it for sleeping.

Plus, it is kind of nice to be a short boat ride away from the MK.

What's your home resort? You may need to be booking VWL exactly at 7 months for Jan depending on when in Jan.

You could always get a 2 bedroom and 1-Bedroom.

470 to 386 rather then 540 to 386.

Also it depends on where your home resort is. If your home resort is not at Old Key West or a resort that has the Grand Villas it will be very hard to get one.

We actually own at SSR which I love! We were going to try somewhere different. Between My sisters and I there will be 6 children. My niece will only be 1 and a half so maybe the boat ride and 2 2bedrooms isn't such a bad idea. Plus whatever I book I have to wait until June because of the 7 month window. A grand Villa maybe out of the question at that point anyway:sad1: I could book at SSR next month for a Villa and then try to change. I am just concerned about the points I would have borrowed if at the 7 month mark I can find something at OKW.
