WL Vets.....what is the quickest way to....

Never made the trip myself, but if I were, I would take the bus to EPCOT and then from there to Boardwalk. I think there is also a boat to Boardwalk from EPCOT as well. Someone else may have a better suggestion.

The quickest way is to drive if you have a car. Serious. Always quicker driving from resort to resort. Other wise you need to take a bus to a transportation center and then catch another bus.

The car is the best option to get from one resort to another resort.

That aside. There never is direct transportation from one resort to another resort.

From WL you could take boat over to MK and then pick up bus to Baordwalk.

From WL you could also take a bus to Epcot (requires admission to do this) then walk through Epcot to Baordwalk. That is quite a walk. It is a little closer to take the boat from the other enterance of Epcot (by the resorts) to Boardwald

From WL you can take the bus transportation to MGM and them pick up a boat to Baoarwalk from outside MGM or there is a very nice walkway from MGM to Baordwalk.

Anyway, I would walk to the bus transportation and ask the first bus driver that I see, which of the following would be best. He/she will have a better idea of how often eac of te busses is running

Anyway. they can all be fun. Have a great vacation.

If you dont have a car then definitely take a bus to epcot and walk through epcot through world showcase entrance and u are there....

I think we have become pros at doing this sort of thing going from resort to resort....how else are you gonna get to a breakfast(especially 1900 park faire)....

I think the best way is totake the bus to TTC and then bus it over to the Boardwalk. There is a ton less walking involved. Probably the quickest way, besides a car of course.

Sorry need to edit the above. The bus from TTC goes to EPCOT first before going to BW...Sorry

Without a car, the FASTEST way to get to the Boardwalk is to take the bus to MGM and then the boat to the Boardwalk area.

If the boat stops at the Swan/Dolphin first, get out there and walk over to the Boardwalk. Otherwise you will then have to wait for the boat to load, continue to the Yacht/Beach Club, unload and load and then over to the Boardwalk.

However, the first stop coming from MGM may be the Boardwalk.

This is the reason we ALWAYS rent a car.

Never done it so I'm not an expert (we always have a car and driving is the best), but you could hop the boat from the WL to the CR, then walk from the CR to the MK bus area (short walk) and catch a bus to the BW from there.

I'd go bus to MGM and boat/walk to BW before I'd go the bus to Epcot/walk through Epcot route. Bussing it to Epcot or MGM takes the same amount of time, but getting into and through Epcot (don't forget you'd need asmission if you aren't on a hopper pass) is quite a haul. Much longer than walking to the BW from the MGM bus drop off.

Do you have plans to go to a theme park or even DTD and then to the Boardwalk?? If so then just hop the Boardwalk bus from whatever location you happen to be in. If you are at Epcot or MGM I think you can take a boat to the Boardwalk also.

We did this earlier this year and it worked great. Those boat rides though slower sometimes than the busses can be a cool relaxing ride for tired feet.

Oh, be careful with the boats, they do stop at all the locations so be sure to ask the captain where he is headed.

Have a magical time at WL and rub Humphries nose for us!!

Another vote for bus to MGM and then boat to BW. I think it would be the quickest way using the Disney Transportation System.

Another option, take a cab. We've done this several times (not WL-BWI, but other resort-resort) and the fare is usually no more than $13-$14 + tip. The last time it was from the Poly to BWI, $13.50, not bad for all the effort it saved.

Bus to MGM then boat or walk is probably the fastest way. Boat to MK and then a bus is also a reasonable way to go.

Taking a bus to EPCOT would require that you use a day on your pass and take a long walk through EPCOT to the International Gateway and then onto the boardwalk. Not a good way to go.

someone may have said it earlier ......

why not take a bus to DTD (Downtown Disney), then switch to a BW bus from there???

just an idea!
