WL trip in Dec!

I am kind-of new to this board. Have spent time (while kids nap) reading many of the posts and gathering information. Everyone on this site is so helpful and considerate (especially Kimmer and 999ghsts)! My family (DH, myself, DD age 4, DD age 2 1/2) are going to WL Dec. 8 for 5 nights. I am trying to make this as magical as I can as we are being moved to Japan in April (military) for 3 years. I have a woodview room reserved. I would love to have view of the MK fireworks. I am going to request a MK view room on the 5th or 6th floor (non-smoking). Just trying to make sure this is a good request before I call. Any help would really be appreciated! Thanks so much.

I grew up a Disney freak and am raising my girls the same way!!

(By the way, how do you get one of those cool count-down timers added to your message?)

I can't help you with the room, as we have only had the courtyard view at the WL. I just wanted to say, though, that the Wilderness Lodge is pure magic in December! I've never seen anything that compares to it. It' will take your breath away! I'm sure your trip will be very special.

Sorry, can't help you much because this will be my 1st trip there also. We'll be checking in on the 7th (me, dh, dd 5 and dd 21mons.). I've heard it will be beautiful there and I hope so. Can't wait. We're celebrating dd's 5th birthday there. See you there.
