We are staying at WL for our upcoming trip. I am trying to find the operating times of the boats that go from WL to MK and also WL to Ft. Wilderness and CR? We have an ADR at CP before park opening and am not sure if we should just take the bus or if the boats will be operating. Also will be traveling to Hoop De Doo at Ft. Wilderness and Pirates and Pals Voyage at CR.Wondering if we will be able to take boat back to WL afterward? It would also be helpful to know if WL shares buses with any other resorts and if so, do the buses stop at WL first or last? Any help is much appreciated!

The boats from WL to MK start operating about an hour before MK opening, IIRC, but check with a CM at the front desk when you get there to be sure. The ones to CR may start a little later.

There is no bus to MK from WL, because there's a boat. Boats should be available post Hoop De Doo, but in the unlikely event that they weren't running, there would be a special bus to take you to WL. Ask a CM how to get back and they'll direct you. And I have heard that there's a walking path between FW and WL, but haven't taken it myself. Again, ask a CM while you're there.

If you need to get from CR to WL and the boats aren't running, the best bet is a cab. It's an incredibly short trip, like a mile or less. I doubt it would be more than $5, including tip. Just go out the front of the CR and ask a valet to call you a cab to WL. They'll wave a cab over, tell the driver where to go and help you in.

But realistically the boats run quite late so you will most likely be able to take the boat from CR to WL.

There is a bus from WL to MK, I prefer the boat because it is more relaxing and has more of a schedule. If you have an early ADR at the MK, I would take the bus.
To the OP, the bus from WL does share a bus periodically to the parks, sometimes it shares with FW, it may share with one of the other deluxe resorts but I don't recall which one.
We have taken boat after Hoop de doo back to WL but we have never gone to the last show. So if you are going to the last show you might get a different answer.

Thanks for the correction. Has that always been true? I could have sworn there wasn't a bus to MK last time we were there, but that was 5 years ago or so. But my memory may just be off.

Anyway, to the OP I would always check with the front desk - transportation schedules can change any time and they'll have current info. One thing is sure - there is a way to make it to your ADR. :-)

Thanks for the info. We are going to the second Hoop de doo show, so I think we will be okay with the boat.

Probably take the bus to ADR just to be on safe side.

There is a path from the Settlement (Where the HDDR is) and Wilderness Lodge. Its been a LONG time (10+ years) since I've walked it.

Digging through my memory and old threads, it seems that circa 2006 or so, the WL did have a bus to the TTC instead of the MK. But that hasn't been the case for quite a while.

I know in the late 90s the WL bus went to the TTC and not directly to the MK. I'm not sure when it changed. A few years ago, maybe 2006, bus service went back to the TTC for a few months while Disney was doing construction work at the MK bus stop.

For the Hoop De Doo trip, I'd use the boat, for the trip to FW and back to WL. As one poster mentioned, there is a path between FW and WL, but it is a looong path, and unlit. It's not safe after dark. If you like jogging during daylight hours, it's a good path for it, but it's pretty scary at dusk. I learned this the hard way.

Also, the boat dock at FW is just steps away from Settlement Hall, where HDDR is. Very convenient.

This is the same boat route that would take you to CR, if you wish to go there. Keep in mind this is a separate boat, at WL and FW, than the one that would take you to MK.
