WL to POfQ ???

We made a ressie for our favorite WL for the week before Christmas at a rate higher than I want to spend hoping that some codes would come out as usual. I am gathering, however now that these emails are coming out that they are primarily pushing their higher rates for this resort. This makes me feel that the traditional $119. for annuals etc may not be forthcoming. If I cannot get that rate or one similar I do not wiah to spend higher during the holidays. Would you advise booking POFQ now while there is room or waiting it out???
Has anyone been at POR or POFQ at Christmas? Is it nicely done?
Any advise would be appreciated. Thanks........
We will be just two adults for a few days on the way to our Grandkids for Christmas.

Lou-Ann - Of course as you know, nothing beats WL at Christmas. However, we have stayed at POFQ at Christmas in 1998. It was very nice, but nothing overly spectacular. Since you're only going to be there a few days I wouldn't worry about it. Save the money. You'll have a great time. As far as making the ressies now, IMHO I think I would just to be safe. Have a wonderful time!!! There is nothing as beautiful as WDW at Christmas!!!
