Dh will be golfing one morning of our trip, leaving me to my own devices (brave man). I would love to have breakfast at Kona on the early side, then head over to MGM and pretty much just hang out, spending a lot of time at One Man's Dream (no desire to do any of the big attractions that AM). What's the best way to do this? Would I take a bus to TTC and walk over to the Poly, then a bus to MGM? Or back to TTC and take a bus from there? It will be EMH at MGM that day, but I don't think there's any way to do Kona and be on line at 8:00 AM, is there?

Starting to think I'm just not smart enough to use the Disney transport system ....

You've got it right...

Just hop the bus to the TTC. It starts running around 7:00am. You could then take the Monorail over to the Polynesian, or if you wanted to, it's not a long walk.

From the Polynesian, there's a direct bus to the Studios. It starts running at around 7:00 or so, give or take.

If you walked over to the TTC, that bus doesn't start running until 8:00 or so.

Isn't there a boat to the Poly form WL? If not to the Poly, I believe there is one to CR and a quick monorail to the Poly.

Thanks, DisDadx2 - I forgot about the launch between WL and CR, though we enjoyed using it on our way to Whispering Canyon last trip. Sounds as if the bus might be faster - hope I can get the first one!

The boat between WL/CR/FW starts runing at 7am.

We took it to CR one morning when we had an early b/fast at Cindys. It's easy to hop the monorail at CR.

The Poly is right next to TTC, so the bus from WL to TTC would be easy, too. Guess it will depend on what "mode" of transportation you feel like that morning!
